Thank you so much to the big sheep for giving us such a lovely and memorable day out! We visited while on holiday with our 2 children (age 2&4) and it was amazing! The guys delivering the shows were really entertaining and really got the children (and us) excited and interested about the whole farming process! They worked so hard... More

So having only moved to the area a couple of months ago we have never visited the big sheep before today and what a great day we had. The plan was to really visit to see the Christmas light show and other Christmas activities we had been told about. So myself and the 2 children 6 and 10 along with... More

We are delighted that you enjoyed all our Christmas activities and the children had a magical experience with Santa. Spent the day at The Big Sheep with my girlfriend on our week away in September and for the lower price we paid I think it was worth it. Sans kids this place loses a bit of its attraction however it was still worth going, we had lots of fun with the roller-coaster, sheep show with all the varieties (we... More

We visited the attraction in September so I appreciate we paid a lower entrance fee but we had so much fun that I think it was superb value. They have a great array of activities for adults and children and you can keep everyone entertained for the entire day incl. sheep sheering demonstrations, talks on brewing - with free samples!... Went to the big sheep in the October half term and loved it. Lots of Halloween activities to keep the kids entertained including panto, pumpkin carving & Halloween costume parades with prizes! Rides were great as well as the staff and sheep of course. Will definitely visit again

Having holiday'd in Devon during the summer over the past 6 years with the children, we thought we'd visit in October and have a trip to the Big Sheep - we are so pleased we did! The fact that it was all decked out for Halloween was a huge bonus - so much thought and planning had gone into this... More

Hello Trishi-Wishi Whoo hoo! To read that The BIG Sheep was the best family day out that you had all year is music to my ears! So pleased you all had such an enjoyable time. I also enjoyed the Phantomime, thought it was great fun. I’ve taken on board your comments about this Face painting and will look to get... More

We went with 3 generations but with 2 little ones in mind. Partly under cover , so perfect for all weather.....entertainment like sheep race throughout the day. A few rides but it is about interaction with animals. Guess as an adult just relax and enjoy for the kids .......they love it.....staff were amazing .....

Morning, thanks for your review. Good to know that you were able to relax while the children had fun. Thanks for the special mention for our 'flock' - we all work hard throughout the year to make sure we give all our guests a great day out so it's encouraging to read lovely comments like yours telling us we are... Apparently this once won an award, but I think this was in 1988 from the sign put up outside. It is about time they took it down. This place feels like a worn out run down farm from the level of activities with very little going on. I wasn't actually sure from walking around if it was in the process... More

Hello, sorry to hear you thought the BIG was expensive and didn’t offer value for money. Our entrance charge is on a par with other similar attractions across the UK and includes free access to 11 live shows a day including the hilarious sheep racing every afternoon. There are six rides included in the admission fee; our new roller coaster,... More

I had heard lots of radio advertising for The Big Sheep so I expected it to be really good. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. It was October half term and so everything was supposed to be 'halloween spooky'. We arrived at 11.30am, the face painting was closed, the pony enclosure was empty and we were greeted by a... More

How disappointing to receive your feedback, particularly in light of all the hugely positive reviews we have received over the years. As a Devon attraction who has received more trip advisor reviews than any other attraction 85% of our visitors rate us as excellent or very good. However, despite welcoming over 150,000 visitors we accept that we will occasionally get... More

Good morning and thank you so much for your short but VERY SWEET five star review. It's just teriffic to read that so many of you all enjoyed our Halloween Festival - it makes all our hard work worth the effort. We always try to add new additions each year and I think we are now firmly established as one... More
