A visit to Beverley Racecourse is a seriously good day out, a fact that the people of Beverley have been quite rightly proud of for over 300 years. Set in the stunning surroundings of The Westwood, the racecourse hosts horse racing between April and September every year. We have 19 race meetings in total, 11 of which feature extra entertainment and fun, from the family-themed May Day with a petting zoo and funfair rides to the glamour of Ladies' Day. For the racing fan, our Very British Raceday in June with its two feature races for the country's best two-year-old horses sees them battle it out in a fast and furious contest up our infamous uphill 5 furlong sprint (a furlong being about 660 feet for the as-yet uninititated.) There's always a warm welcome at Beverley, and whether you prefer to bring the family with a picnic and a rug or your friends for an afternoon of fun and catching up, you'll find lots of like-minded people enjoying the day and the excitement of watching your horse thundering home. Tickets in advance are much the cheapest way to visit and can be bought via our website, along with lots more information about all of our racedays. Let us show you how much fun an afternoon at the races can be! 2017 Fixtures At A Glance Weds 19 April The White Rabbit in Easterland Raceday Thurs 27 April Afternoon Racing Mon 01 May May Day Raceday Tues 16 May Afternoon Racing Wed 31 May Half Term Raceday Sat 10 June A Very British Raceday Tues 20 June 70s Racenight Feat: Bus Stop Tues 27 June Afternoon Racing Fri 07 July Party on the Pasture Racenight Sat 08 July The Big Saturday Raceday Tues 18 July Afternoon Racing Mon 24 July Carnival Racenight Tues 01 Aug Roll Up, Roll Up Raceday Weds 16 Aug Flemingate Ladies' Day Thurs 17 Aug Afternoon Racing Feat: The Camel Derby Sun 27 Aug A Sunday Hop Sat 02 Sep Totepool Beverley Bullet Raceday Weds 20 Sept Afternoon Racing Tues 26 Sept Season Closer

Thank you for the great review - it is much appreciated! Trying not to visit all the food outlets is one of the overwhelming struggles we face as they're all so good, and don't even start us on the Xing Cocktails...thanks again and we hope to see you this season! More

Attended a ball here and I wasn't expecting much as these affairs are usually mass production less quality meals but oh how wrong was I. Every course was beautiful and I would certainly attend functions there in the future.

Thank you so much for this really kind review - we will pass on to the caterers who will be absolutely delighted to hear this. It is a challenge to feed lots of people well and with style, and we think they do it well too. Thanks again and we hope to see you during the racing season! More

I love horse racing and a little flutter, so this makes a great day out for me and my family. If you feel like being treated with a little more importantly then try one of their great hospitality packages.

Thank you for the great review! All our visitors are important to us but the hospitality packages are certainly a fabulous way to pamper yourself and experience the races, you're not wrong there. Thanks again and hope to see you this season! More

We go here a few times each year and we love it. The cheap part in the middle is always popular and has food places to eat there as well as the bookies of course. You get close to the action and with a big screen available to watch you shouldn't miss any of the action. Recommend to all, but... More

Cracking review, thank you very much! It isn't the warmest place when the weather turns is it, but across the other side plenty of lovely warm bars to shelter in and watch the action from. Looking forward to seeing you this coming season, we've got a great one lined up for you! More

If your going to the races, no better place, intimate, exciting racing. Try the updated restaurant, book a table for the day, great food and hospitality.

One of the smaller, more quaint racecourses - but more than makes up for that in atmosphere and good facilities, at a sensible price. Meetings over the summer months are great, particularly if using the course enclosure area. Good dining room, although a little limited in menu selection.

Thanks for the good review, glad you like the course. We know what you mean, the atmosphere is very friendly and our setting is quite traditional but we're very modern and innovative in terms of our facilities and investment in the course, as well as our fun range of theme days. Hope to see you again next year! More

An excellent day out where you can chat with friends have a drink and relax in the sunshine or get caught in the pouring rain and get soaked but if you are a racing fan then its a great afternoon or evening out.

IF you are into horse racing then Beverley is the "friendly course" & has a varied programme over the whole flat racing season. Whether you like a flutter or not it is a great day out on the "Hurn" on the Westwood.
