We’ve been visiting for many decades and we were not disappointed - alarmed by some of the poor reviews but thankfully didn’t experience any of the behaviours reported about the landlord n landlady. Maybe it’s changed tenants? Was dog friendly and perfectly people friendly too....More

One of the best drinking pubs in Beverley, beautiful building possibly built when God was a lad, but such an amazing place to see. The original gas lights are still in use, the people are friendly & the ambiance is warm & welcoming !
