    Amazing
I came across Dumble Farm on TikTok and instantly thought I need to go and do this. I booked the Highland Cow Trekking and wasn’t disappointed. I love highland cows and come from a farming background. Worth ever penny. The staff were lovely and you could tell they loved their animals too. Definitely be going back.

    My Happy Place
What an amazing experience. I found Dumble Farm whilst perusing Tik Tok and being a lover of cows it was perfect. The booking process was easy to do but I would recommend keeping an eye on dates as they fill up quite quickly. We decided to tie our visit into our holiday but the weather was not on our side. The staff were really friendly and told us about the farm and it’s history, then we moved into the barn to meet the retired dairy cows. Sitting with these beautiful creatures is really a happy experience and the staff were on hand to answer any questions we had. Due to the weather the grooming of the highland cows was done in the barn to save us all getting wet, they were very cute but very sassy. We then met the older highlands who were equally as beautiful and enjoyed a good brushing. Afterwards we met the very friendly goats and some very soggy alpacas. Despite the weather this was a brilliant experience, one of which I would definitely do again 🥰

    Amazing!!
Took part in the cow cuddling experience and we absolutely loved it! We loved seeing the goats and alpacas at the start, then the cuddling with the retired dairy cows was amazing - a really happy experience and the cows are so gentle and lovely. The highland cows were adorable and had big personalities and we loved grooming them, feeding them and getting lots of pictures. Loved the gift shop at the end - everyone at Dumble Farm is lovely and we both had a truly magical time! 🥰

Really brilliant experience for all the family.
Amazing afternoon out as a family. We went on the Highland Cow Safari, the whole experience was brilliant from start to finish. Our 2yo was in love with the cows and tractor. Our 6yo loved answering all the questions on the activity sheet and learning the names of the cows. We are already looking at booking to go again. It really was a great afternoon. Highly recommend.

    Fantastic experience! Highly recommend.
The Highland Cow safari was a fantastic morning out from start to finish. Really interesting to learn about the conservation efforts and wildlife on the farm and plenty of time spent with the cows in the field. It was great to have the cows so close, to be able interact with them and learn all about them. Really unique experience that I would highly recommend to anyone. It was so well organised and the team at the farm are really knowledgeable and welcoming. And lovely cake afterwards! Will definitely be looking to go back.

Brilliant & fantastic cow cuddling and highland grooming. Loved it !
Everything I wanted it to be and more ! So friendly and welcoming, took time to answer questions, share knowledge and facts about each cow and spent time making sure everyone had the best experience. It was lovely being in a small group (6) and it was not an issue being on my own. The cow cuddling was brilliant and the time with the highlands was fantastic. Thank you !
Thank you. Really pleased you had a great time. We are so happy to share our passion and show of the magnificent Highlands. Hope to see you again in the future. A special Moo from us to you!

    Fabulous experience
Visited on 14th August with my mum who is 82. Thoroughly enjoyed the cow safari. Learnt about the history of the farm and land and met the cows. We were able to stroke and feed them. Nothing was rushed and you got tea and cakes after and a chance to chat. The guides were really good, talkative and helpful. Would definitely recommend it for all ages.

Wonderful experience. The Dumble team were really knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information. The visit was well planned so we had lots of time with the cows and also met the lamas and the goats as well. We had a brilliant time and were jmpressed with how many cows we were able to groom and get to know. Would highly recommend. 😀

    Absolutely amazing, 10000% recommend!
Easy to find to start, staff were very welcoming and friendly with lots of knowledge. Lovely chat beforehand! Cows were amazing. So friendly and playful and loved the scratches! The goats and alpacas were a great addition. Staff were extremely accommodating and understanding when I struggled to walk. Very chatty throughout the whole experience. Great opportunity for photos too. We went for our anniversary and couldn’t have chosen anything better to do! One of the best days I’ve ever had. 100% recommend. Overall, Dumble farm is a 1000/10 for me and my partner. Definitely visiting again soon.

    Great family experience
We visited as a family of 4. I had emailed asking what was best for us to choose and the cow safari was advised. On arrival we was greeted and allowed to see some cows. On the trip out we was given lots of information about the farm. The cows were really friendly and happy to come over to be fed. Staff were great with them and encouraged them to cooperate with us as visitors. The coffee and cake was lovely after experience. We all really enjoyed it and it went well above our expectations. Such an amazing day! Thank you to everyone involved.

What a fantastic experience, would definitely recommend the cow cuddle and grooming experience. The team were so friendly and knowledgeable and was on hand guiding you all the time and answering your questions. The cows were so friendly and made us laugh when you stopped grooming they would give you a gentle nudge to carry on grooming. We got to meet the baby and adult cows . We met little Willow who was so boisterous he wanted all the attention and play it made us laugh and then we met Orphaned Annie and heard about her happy ending ,which was nice. The owners are doing a fantastic job with the conservation and introducing new and rare animals to the farm/ conservation. We were treated to cake and tea at the end, the cake was delicious thank you.

We booked the cow cuddling for my partner’s birthday and I cannot recommend this enough! Aside from the cows being amazing, friendly affectionate and playful, the staff were magnificent, down to earth, friendly, really interactive and informative, they came and told us all about each cow as we picked a cow to cuddle and it was clear how loved each of the cows are; their calm and affectionate manner is testament to how well they are clearly treated each day. I haven’t felt so peaceful in a long time. We are organising another trip as we speak!

This was my birthday treat from my daughter her husband and my son. I knew nothing about it and was just told to take a change of footwear and warm clothes. What an awesome day! Fiona, her husband and her brother were so lovely and obviously adored their animals. Can highly recommend this….highland cows were beautiful and the cow cuddling was fantastic. Please support this brilliant family by going!

This was just a magical experience! The owners are so passionate about the cows and the wider environment and their enthusiasm just rings out. The grooming was fabulous but the cow cuddling was amazing….something everyone should do. The owners are so humble and so lovely that this adds to the experience. Thank you so much for an exceptionally wonderful day. Xxx

Dumble farm will match your bovine based expectations and then some! We had the full tour will the Highland flock, which involved feeding time and we also had some lovely birds pointed out along the way, including a flock of rare Cattle Egret.
The cows are very much part of the family at Dumble and the staff, Will, Fiona, Paul and Julie, are the most welcoming of folks you could want to meet.
Can only give this top marks all round.

Me and my mum did the cow cuddling experience today, as a birthday treat for me… it was everything to us and more! From the start, the staff was so lovely, very informative about the conservation project they have and are passionate about the hard work they do. You can tell every single animal on the farm is so loved and well looked after (pampered! :p ) We groomed some of the highland calf’s, which was amazing. Then went in and met the retired dairy cows both big and small, it was really healing for the soul. I didn’t want to leave Baby Cloud! Willow was extra friendly! It is really well worth every penny, we will be coming again, thank you for having us! 🐮
