If your contemplating booking - do it! Best week ever!!!!!
We were on the March 2023 snowboarding camp and it was a blast! Callum and Natalie are the best hosts ever and can’t do enough for you! They make you all feel so welcome and really make an effort for everyone. Callum’s cooking is top notch - happy full tummy every night, and food to fuel full and fun days.
We had never snowboarded before (apart from one lesson in the UK) and I can say if your interested in giving it a go, do it with Bothies and Bannocks. Shoutout to Richie our teacher who is the coolest guy and is super patient, encouraging and helpful- he also really puts the effort in to make sure your getting the hang of things.
On our last day we were the only couple still around and Callum was really kind and Spent his day with us - he linked us in with an electric bike shop and we all hired them for a couple of hours - he showed us some really cool spots and took us out for a ride to suit our ability.
The accommodation for the week at Howe of Torbeg is amazing and the hosts there are so lovely. We had a lovely walk in the country side, in our first day, exploring some abandoned farmhouses and to top it all off, saw the northern lights in the most incredible location !!!!!
Me and my partner had an amazing time, met some incredible people and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We booked Calum to collect us and our 8 bikes from Ratagan and drive us back to Deeside. It couldn't have been easier. Matt, our driver was lovely and was happy to stop on request and drop us all off at our doors. We will definietly be using these guys for future adventures.

We used the minibus & bike trailer to get us home from the westcoast. They could not have been more helpful & professional. A great service & we’ll definitely use them again, thankyou!

What a day! Collected, transported and very well taken care of.
Thank you Callum - the whole day was organised perfectly.
Callum concocted a perfect day of Gin and Whiskey tasting as well as a superb lunch and a cooperage tour.
Lots of laughs and chat. I have recommended Bothies and Bannocks to all of my friends 👍

We booked a market day excursion and cook course and enjoyed it very much. We are new to the area and were looking for good places to buy fresh produce and we had that at the market and we loved the food we cooked when we got back to the kitchens. It was a lovely small group and worked really well. Thanks Calum, I would definitely recommend

Had a great experience with Calum! Ours was a small group of 3. We gave Calum a general idea of what we wanted in a one day tour and he definitely exceeded our expectations. We threw him a last minute curveball in the day’s agenda and he easily adjusted our tour on the fly. Calum is so personable and easygoing, you definitely feel as though he is just a friend showing you around. Very knowledgeable about the area and provides lots of local color. As others have stated, you will leave with a new friend in Scotland. I would 100% recommend Bothies and Bannocks, hoping to go back for another visit!

Loved everything about our experience with Calum - he got our vibe and helped to make the most out of our 2 day tour. He was prompt every morning with a smile on his face ready to bring us to our destinations. By the end of our time with Calum, I felt we had known him for years. I recommend Bothies & Bannocks 100%, would totally book him again!

We had such a wonderful time on our two day tour of the Highlands with Calum. He made spot on recommendations for our hotels and brought us to some amazing sites and distilleries. He showed us his Scotland and we left as friends for life. Truly a wonderful experience.

Calum had the pleasure of taking our rowdy group of misfits around the countryside and was absolutely phenomenal. He picked us up from the airport in Aberdeen and transported us to our hotel in Speyside, took us on a tour of Burn o' Vat, and to the airport in Edinburgh. On the way to Edinburgh, he took us around St. Andrews and took us to an amazing lunch spot, with enough seating for our party of 9. He was very knowledgeable about the area, had great food and drink suggestions, a good sense of humor, and was very enjoyable to be around! Calum did not simply take us from point to point, he informed us about all the wonderful things about Scotland along the way and answered all of our random questions.
When, and not if, we return to Scotland, we are going to make sure to look Calum up and have him take us on some more adventures!

Excellent adventure! Our first trip to Scotland was truly special. Touring with Calum is like traveling with a good friend, you will feel valued and welcomed. Very experienced and reliable. Truly appreciated his flexibility in adjusting our tour to fit perfectly for what my wife and I wanted. Castles, distilleries, great food, and a little antique shopping. Awesome!
