    Hidden Gem Party Venue
This is the second childrens party I've had here and I can honestly say it's very good value for money. Children love the soft play. The food looked good quality and the portions were very generous. The other parents were very surprised to find the party included an hour on the rides. The lady who attended us was very friendly and I can't fault her customer service at all - thank you! The only criticism I have is that when we had our last party pre-covid, we had a party room that was decorated with a pirate theme. This time we were seated in the main dining area and the function room looked like it was now being used for storage. That was a bit of a shame but not a deal breaker. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place as a party venue for under 10's.

Fun for the hour we were there
First visit in 3 years. They have some new rides which are good, but you do find the rides are very close together so can be a bit of a squeeze to walk around if busy. If your planning on a short visit, they do tokens for the rides, but myself personally, I find their wristband deals more reasonable for the amount of tokens needed for the rides. The under 3s wristband is £6.99 for 1.5 hours unlimited play (except the ghost train) and anyone over the age of 3 the wristbands cost £15.99 for 3 hours unlimited play, (except the ghost train, which you have to pay extra for). I do wish they did a 1.5 hour wristband for those over 3 as sometimes 3 hours is too long, or if like myself you have different age gaps the youngest ones have to wait around for the older children's wristbands to finish unless your willing to buy another toddler wristband. They do have a restaurant overlooking the sea above the indoor play area if you want a meal, if not they do hotdogs/burgers/chips near the entrance which is reasonably priced.

    Fun for toddler
Our daughter had the under 3 wristband and enjoyed the rides, soft play and trampolines. We went out of season and she had her own ride attendant with staff all attentive. Very safety conscious and felt that she was looked after throughout. Soft play was really clean and well maintained which gave us a chance to but coffee which was lovely. Well worth a visit. Easy parking and access.

Got there for 10:10 and there was no staff on any of the rides once we got our wristbands we was then followed with a menber of staff to be able to go on ride, we then have to pay extra to go on the ghost train £2.50 per person, everything was dated and could do with refurbishment kids enjoyed themselves but I don't think it was worth £80 for 5 of us wish I'd of paid more to go the sealife center, breakfast was good tho

It's a curious one to review. In terms of value for money the 3 hour bands were great for the kids (10 year olds). Yes, there are only a few really good rides, but it was deserted when we were there, so it was like their own private theme park. They were able to ride multiple times without queueing. The dodgems, softplay, trampolines, drop ride, teacups etc were all in good working order, freshly painted and can't be faulted. The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful, apart from one chap who seemed to have perfected the grumpy fairground worker schtick. We worked hard to get a smile out of him...and were finally rewarded with a pleasant wish for a good weekend by the end...! Whilst there we had several people asking us if the park was open, which sadly shows how well hidden the staff were... They really need to work on their front of house... anyway, give it a try. We had a lot of fun and it's a pleasant walk there from Weymouth.

Having paid £16 for a 3 hour wristband band, What a waste of time! you need 3 hrs of time because there is only 2 staff members operating the rides and one of those was just dancing around with a cloth in his hand. In just over 30 minutes my son had a go on T cups (timed it right) then wanted to go on the big (small) wheel but took nearly 20 minutes for someone to operate the ride for him. On to the next ride and 5 minutes I’d had enough of waiting around. Went to get a refund and the so called manager was just outright rude, dismissive and customer service was non existent! I for one will NEVER go back!

Only 5 rides suitable for over 5 years old and 2 of those are closed. The soft play is not suitable for under 4 years old

After visiting fantasy island at bowleaze cove a month back they had some new rides delivered. As they were new to site they weren’t ready to be used and were out of action. Reubs was absolutely dying to get on them therefore yesterday morning I thought I’d ring up and see if they were open before making the journey.
(As many of you are aware I did this because if I turned up and the rides were closed, Reuben wouldn’t understand this like any ‘normal’ child and would cause meltdown). After confirming on the phone yes ALL the new rides are open I travel down. Bought Reuben’s wristband £15.99 for 3 hours of unlimited rides to then get outside and the ride he wanted to use still isn’t ready and open!

This then caused Reuben an overload of emotions and meltdown started. Reuben was NOT interested at this point In and couldn’t understand or comprehend why the ride wasn’t open.

Because I had called in prior to my visit to try and prevent this from happening. I spoke to Chris the manager to see if I could either have a refund or if I could have a wristband to re use when the ride opens in the near future.

Little did I know someone could be so rude and less caring! Just a couple of the things I was told…

Just put him on another ride. There’s others here! I advised Unfortunately it’s not just as easy as putting him on another ride - to which I was then told Reuben’s problems are my issue and not his! That I should have checked when I arrived that it was open (silly me for calling one hour prior and then thinking I had to then double check on arrival!)

He was not willing to do anything to help my situation, not apologise for what his staff member advised, just turned everything I said back on to me and the fact Reuben is my problem! Because of this I ended up walking out in floods of tears feeling well and truly gutted for Reuben. Gutted that someone who I believe sees a lot of this kind of stuff was so rude and thoughtless to what is actually one of the sweetest children!

I therefore won’t be going back there… I don’t want this post shared because I want sympathy. I want this post to be shared so people in the same position as myself know how disgusting they can be. I can deal with Reuben, in fact Reuben yesterday was the easy part for me, Chris the manager of fantasy island was the difficult part!

Came here while on holiday and bought 3 hr wristbands for all family members. Will concede that maybe we should have looked around first before making a purchase as there wasn't much here for anyone over the age of 10, in fact a lot of rides seem to not allow adults at all. My 9 year old daughter enjoyed herself though, but given that she was the only one consistently going on rides, we definitely feel like it was money wasted. Also bothered us that things like the Ghost Train wasn't included in with the wristband and the fact that rides weren't consistently manned.

I really regret wasting a morning of our holiday here, I hope this review (along with all the others) will convince you not to bother! The general area and the rides are so worn out, some not working. But the thing that completely killed the atmosphere was the attitude of the staff. They were inhospitable to the point that I actually felt sorry for them and wondered if they needed help to boost confidence and care about their job. They weren’t rude per se, they just couldn’t care less about being at work and had no confidence, personality or communication skills, which are very much needed if you’re working in a children’s amusement park. Save your time and your money.
