Amazing seafront harbor with lots of pubs and cozy places to sit and enjoy the view. There are also lots of shabby chic gift shops in the area.

A small to Medium size harbour with plenty going on either side of the river, there are plenty of cafes, or pubs along the route with many small shops selling local produce and fun stuff

lovely harbour full of boats! Good eateries and pubs overlooking the harbour. Very pleasant walk, with town bridge opening up at regular intervals! spectacular!

One of the busiest harbours we have been to. We had an apartment overlooking the harbour for a week and spent everyday just watching all the fishing and private boats sailing up and down, so relaxing. Something always happening and the town bridge opened up...More

Busy natural harbour that is thriving, and colourful. It is not just a marina, but ferry terminal and home to (mostly) inshore fishing fleet. It is an historic port and has the distinction of being one of the embarkation points for the D-Day landings 75...More

There is lots do & see in season out of season amusement are open some close at 6:30pm & some restaurants are open but hotels do have lots of leaflet & brochures with money off coupons for attractions the beach is a mix of shingle...More

Yes 3 days will be fine - buses go over regularly to the Isle of Portland (run by first bus Dorset) and is a good service - get an all day ticket, I am sure they take credit cards on board Dorchester is well worth a visit... More

Are you staying in a B & B by the harbour? If so, it could be that they have residents permits to display in your car windscreen in which case there are zoned areas...hopefully quite close to where you are staying. If not... More

Or better still take 2 cars a little way aw ay from central areas and give other drivers a lift back. Hope you get parked ok.
