A fascinating piece of 'living history', thankfully saved from demolition by the modernising council a few decades ago, very faithfully preserved to show how life was in Tudor times. The real treasure is the volunteer guides with their wealth of detail.

Thank you for taking the time to find us - We are so glad you enjoyed your visit. Of course, tucked away now but the House originally stood on the side of an inlet to the harbour. It occupied a prominent and busy site.

Small but perfectly formed. The house is small so limited by that, the lady who showed us around was very pleasant. She clearly fitted her talk to my daughter who is 8. Give it a go especially if you are a local.

Very interesting historical Tudor House. A bit small and cramped inside, as you must expect from a house from this era, but well worth while.
