Very well-worth a visit, particularly for Arts & Crafts aficionados. The house is spacious and filled with light. The craftsmanship and authenticity are instantly recognizable as A&C, but as the house was custom-built, there are many unique touches, motifs, and patterns I haven't seen anywhere...More

Whenever I'm in the area we always go to Blackwell Arts and Crafts house for lunch. Never disappointed, such a lovely place to eat. The house is well worth looking round, but usually it's just for lunch or coffee.

You can walk to this house from Bowness, generally off the main road but with a short stretch on it. The views are spectacular and the house itself is interesting. When we were there a young girl was playing the piano and it was so...More
