What a great park! It was a cold and miserable day, but we felt we should check it out as we were in Barrow and had a 2 hour drive back home and wanted the little one to have a run around (i.e.: so he'd sleep!). Barrow park is a lovely, well kept park. The spring flowers are in bloom now and it's starting to look really pretty. There were people sailing motorised boats on the lake and we saw ducklings! Lots of people with children on the play park. We didn't take our dogs as they are not allowed off leads in the park, there... More

Excellent. Boating lake. Golf. Play areas and a massive area to enjoy. The park is covered by cctv and has had some great outdoor events on.

Had a ,lovely walk around the park with a friend maintained well nice park enjoyed walking around and watching the ducks

The park is a large and pleasent open space with plenty of nice features in. The most pleasant part of the park i have found is the little alcoves near the large stone steps that lead up to the memorial. My only complaint would be the amount of bird feces as their are so many swans and ducks it has... More

I live next to the park and walk my dog there frequently you can spot herons geese andcormorants it really is an oasis in an otherwisise dull town well kept with bowling greens kids playground and all weather soccer fields

Nice park. Good for a wander around,there's a nice children's play park and you can walk round the lake and feed the ducks, There's also a nice teeenhouse to view plants and flowers in

Enter nearest the Station and you come across the above memorial. When asked had he had any requests his response was "Yes, I should have killed more Johny Turks"!
