Food is good but tastes like it's pre packed and thawed out but still not bad for the price. Ideal for kids as well as they have a play area

We arrived at the pub around 9:45 on the 22nd oct and new we was pushing it for time, however the lovely lady behind the bar let us order some food. We got our drinks and sat down. About half an hour passed and our food hadn't arrived aware they had stopped serving and the chefs was likely to be... More

Been here several times over the years as it's one of my friends favourate places. First time today since its changed owners and it was fantastic. I had the 12oz rump steak which was cooked just perfect for me. Plenty of choice when it comes to drinks. Can't complain. Well done again to the staff.

Yes it's pub grub, but excellent value, delicious food. We have been the last two weekends as little treats! Definitely good value for money. Lovely desserts too!

The menu for this place sounds fantastic. We were really eager to go and try it out...and i have rarely been so disappointed. Everything that we ordered arrived looking like it had been taken out of a box with Aunt Bessie's on it. I had a mixed meat 'roast' dinner. Three thick slices of turkey, beef and pork/gammon that weren't... More

Our cycling group were staying in the nearby Travelodge. The staff there had suggested the Owl and Pussycat as a suitable place to eat our Sunday evening meal. We booked tables and sure enough they were ready for us. A selection of real ales is always a plus. Unfortunately the advertised carvery roast dinner had run out following a busy... More

We have been here on previous occasions and couldn't fault it. The children's menu is great and my two little ones love all the choice. Staff are friendly. Our visit today was disappointing. We were warned food would be 30 minutes, it took 50 minutes. The children's meals were then slightly warm. They were starving so are it anyway. We... More
