Library and front desk staff are really friendly and helpful, and knowledgeable about current and planned exhibitions in the museum. It's a shame you can't say the same about the café staff. I witnessed one member of staff particularly who was extremely rude to students...More

Some very ancinet books here ... so impressed with the level of historical eviednece... copy of the Mangna Carta for one was on display the weekend we were there !

The café at Palace Green library is wonderful. Cheerful and helpful staff made our visit really nice. You don't have to visit the exhibition to use the café and there is a platform lift down to it for those with wheelchairs. The café is light...More

We were directed to the Scottish soldiers exhibition by one of the days out for families websites. It was well put together but clearly not aimed at small children (we had three) and with six of us it wasn't cheap. A couple of spelling mistakes...More

Not the easiest of places to see and navigate. There is a map which is difficult to follow. Some exhibitions are free others you have to pay and we could not work out which was where or where the cafe was so we left.More
