1st time of coming here and was very impressed with the group and the set-up. It was very easy to get to from the station and we had a drink in the bailiffs bar first. A nice bar that's connected to the venue. The hall itself eas

The Old Courts is a beautiful building with varied uses , from gigs, wedding venue, theatre, bar and cafe. It's a great community space. I usually go here for gigs. There's a standing venue downstairs and a seated theatre upstairs. It's being gradually and lovingly restored. The old court room is now a wedding venue/meeting room and music space with beautiful stained glass doors and refurbished dark wood fittings. The toilets are a bit basic and they're trying to raise funds to improve disabled facilities and access so do check with them if you need specific help. I know they'll do their best. If you're visiting Wigan do see what's on there to suit your taste and have a look.
