Lovely harbour, took about 20 minutes to walk round and take in the gorgeous views. Castle is closed off but you can read about it. Dunbar is a quaint village with some lovely shops.

Dunbar Castle was destroyed in the 19th century to build the harbour but still a nice place to visit.

Good for a wee walk to explore, watch harbour activity and get close to the sea! The harbour can be part of a longer walk but I recommend stopping off to explore and enjoy!

A must-see if you are in the area! The harbour is a working port, with fishing boats and pleasure craft, set among cliffs and lawns and narrow lanes of pretty cottages. And it's great for watching seals behaving badly as they cruise the inner harbour cadging fish from the boats landing their catch: we watched one seal hauling itself onto... More

The unspoilt, working... More

What an amazing place this is, still a working harbour. The fish was brought in this morning. Lovely to watch, loads of gulls and 2 seals around to see if they can pinch any fish. The castle ruins add dramatic atmosphere to the harbour. A real must for every visitor. It is only a 15 minute walk from the station.... More
