Coast to Coast Surf school has grown a reputation Scotland wide for high quality surf sports teaching, with a team of experienced instructors offering quality lessons and courses for both Surfing and Bodyboarding. We also run Stand up paddle board and Coasteering classes. For the more adventurous we offer amazing surf camps on the west coast islands and north coast of Scotland

Great Improver lesson with Sam! Felt he reviewed our abilities before giving the option to go out deeper and try and catch some bigger waves which was fab! Lots to learn but great fun and lots of good tips. Recommend 🤙🏻

Great set up, lovely people. Can't fault them! I'd highly recommend it. I had a two hour beginners surf lesson which wasn't rushed and was really helpful.

Myself and a friend had an Improver Surf lesson with Josh. There were 5 of us in the class. We picked up more tips and info in the space of 2 hours than we did over a whole week long surf camp abroad! The class size was small enough that Josh was able to spend time with each of us to watch and identify where we were going wrong. The booking process online was really easy. Really fantastic experience. I am impressed with the quality of instruction we received and feel we definitely got our money's worth, absolutely would come back again.

Instructor very patient with just 2 in class. Felt I could do with more practical tips eg left or right foot forward? Could you draw a line down the middle of the board so that stance would be easier?

Had an introduction to Paddleboard lesson on Sunday 10th September 2023.
Josh the instructor was friendly and informative. We were soon in the water and he gave us a lot of sound advice for Paddle boarding in the area. Would recommend Coast to Coast Surf School.

Sam and Quentin took us on an incredible scramble, climb and splash around Dunbar's fabulous coastline. The whole family had a fantastic time with boundaries challenged, leaps made and, most importantly, smiles galore. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our surf lesson on 8th September with Chris.
He's a natural at teaching. The lesson was very informative & fun. We progressed throughout the lesson, making it to our feet and catching some waves.

Absolutely fantastic lessons for me and the family - some paddle boarding some surfing. Very knowledgeable trainers, really generous with coaching and advice. Everyone felt they achieved great results from initial intrepidation! Fab set up and great location as well - well done!

Our friends bought us a voucher for paddle boarding as a wedding gift so we thought it was fitting to use the voucher on our first anniversary! We had an absolutely fantastic time exploring the harbours with Josh, who was very patient and encouraging to us first-timers. He helped us go from feeling a bit nervous about standing up to feeling really quite comfortable and relaxed in such a short space of time. We can't wait to go again and are already eyeing up our own kit! Thanks so much Josh!
