Another year, another tour, another fantastic adventure. Despite Covid, C2C pulled out the stops to go ahead with this summer’s surf tours hitting the north coast of Scotland for a week and what a wonderful week we had. Lovely friendly small group with 2 of the best instructors you could wish for. Campsite was great and a short hop to the most jaw droppingly beautiful beach where we surfed every day. Everyone caught loads of waves and conditions and weather both were glorious which made the scenery even more stunning than it already is. Post surf, a visit to the local hotel for yummy food and drinks was a cool way to end the day, watch the sunset, relax and blether with the rest of the gang. If you have ever thought about going on a tour but haven’t yet, I encourage you to do so as you will have the most amazing time, progress your surfing and meet some really really good people who will cheer you on every time you catch a wave and even if you wipe out. I think this is my 4th trip with C2C and i always feel ultra safe and comfortable in the water. It doesn’t matter what level you are at, the surf school cover all bases without having to split the group. I really can’t recommend the tours and C2C highly enough, looking forward to 2021. When can I book ?

My cousin and I recently had level 1 surfing lessons at Coast2Coast. We had a fantastic time! Davide, Georgie, Clover and Annie were all excellent, enthusiastic instructors. We were given clear safety advice as well as lots of personalised feedback and tips. The lessons were well organised and clearly structured to give beginners the skills needed to stand up on the board. When there were differing levels of ability in a group (e.g. some younger children in with adults) the lessons were tailored so that the whole group could learn and improve appropriately for their stage/ability. When the forecast for surfing wasn’t good (for 2 of our booked lessons) we were contacted in plenty of time the day before and offered alternative activities or to reschedule. All in all a great experience and will definitely be back, couldn’t recommend more highly, thank you very much!

Booked in twice on level 1 as I’m a complete beginner. Both days were unfortunately flat conditions but I still went along and learned a lot from Iona and Oshi (sorry can’t remember the name!) even though you are in a group they still take time with you to help perfect some techniques. All equipment provided and honestly because the quality of the wetsuits probided is so high you didn’t feel cold at all! I can’t wait to come back. Parking wasn’t an issue either plenty of space in the picking car park opposite. Went on a Monday and Friday so probably quieter than the weekends.

We had a family SUP session and got excellent instruction from Iona. This was our first time and it didn’t take long for us to get going. Most of the time was spent on the Biel burn where the water was nice and calm and we were able to practice technique before heading down to the sea, passing under the Bridge To Nowhere. Iona was great with the kids and challenged them to jump up and do 360s, and trying handstands on the boards.

Went for my first ever SUP lesson which took place in Dunbar harbour because there wasn't calm enough water at the beach that day. There were four of us in the class and Sam, our excellent instructor, gave us some instruction before we went in the water and through to the calmest harbour area. He then, very patiently in my case, got us from lying on the board to kneeling to standing. He then guided us through to the slightly choppier water in the other two harbours and the bonus was seeing a seal bobbing along close to us. I was with my sister and we had a great time. The wetsuits were really good and we did not feel too cold, in spite of falling in a few times.

Great feedback from the instructor. I kept practicing myself prior to the class, but hearing her advice really helped me. A lot to digest and practice for the next weeks. An additional bonus was the evening hours of the class which offered great sky colours, even if the sunset was a little later.

For my birthday last November I was given vouchers to use for coast to coast after going previously between roughly 2015 and 2017 as I just hadn’t had the time in between. Was quite apprehensive about getting back on the board and whether or not I’d be able to remember what I was doing. I have had 2 lessons in July (making up for lost time over lockdown) and I have loved every moment if it, and felt almost instantly that I could remember what to do.
The guys at C2C are amazing I would highly recommend going there and I have over time had many different instructors and it’s great because you can learn so many different hints and tips from them all.
Thanks Guys, will definitely be seeing you again- hopefully for a day tour for a change.

We did the coasteering level 2 and loved it. I had 4 young adults with me and they thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the jumping. The change rooms were closed so we changed in to the wet suits by our cars, definitely felt we were in safe hands!

This place is great. Large car park is a good start. The centre has toilets, changing rooms, underfloor heated tiles! and the most amazing hot showers. The equipment is good and the lessons are great fun. Highly recommended even driving through from Glasgow for a 7pm session is worthwhile after work.

My 11 year old and I had a great lesson with Clover, one of the instructors. Clover’s communication was clear and very instructive and she put a lot of fun into it. I am particularly thankful for the little bit of extra she put in with Arthur to get him going. Thanks you so much and we hope to see you again soon.
