Lots of usual park attractions closed. weather absolutely awful. fireworks cancelled. took my grand daughter age 7. £20 each very overprized for what it was on the day. would like my money and time back that we spent there.…

came for halloween night but was not staying for teh fireworks so when i heard they were cancled due to the high winds i was not too worried. stayed for 4 hours and managed to see everything and have a coffee break along the way. musical pet shop was closed. and coaster was on and off due to weather water slides were closed. now here is the rub. alot of the areas seam to be in need of some serious tlc > crooked house could do with a repaint.(especially since wheven painted the enterence in didn't go over teh orignal that had rubbed off a bit so it looked messy.) may also benefit with updateing > rumpus mansion looked good but with live acotrs the manimatronics were off. > the Vortex tube could benefit of having some uv cannons at either end and mirrors around the door to give an infinity look > ubderwaterland like the crooked house needs repainting and repare, (fish eye being damaged ect) all in all it was nice to visit for an afternoon but the park looks like its not had a proper maintainance time for quite a while.(givine that underwaterland is 3 years old and already looks like it does. To the Dabells. it would benefit with the current situation we are in to maybe take the forced closure by the government as a time to approch some out of work scenic artists or approch 3 rd students from places such as Rose bruford college or royal central school of speech and drama. to re vitalise the park ready for a triumphant return once we are able to.…

A bit tired and overpriced but the kids (4 and 6) loved it and that's what we were there for. Probably wouldn't interest older children. Very busy though considering Covid restrictions.

Big fan of BGC - very nostalgic for me and great to be able to share this experience with my son. Good points - dinosaur restricted area 5, fun and lifelike! Dodos were a laugh, enjoyed the climbing frames over this area. Vortex - quirky! Fairyland is cute and whimsical too. Felt a little disappointed at the expensive gift shop prices and the fact some interactive buttons around the park (Mexican man) and Guiseppe the talking crab. This was my sons fav last visit so it totally took the magic away to not see Guiseppe moving or talking. Such a shame! Hand driers in some of the toilets were ridiculous, like drying your hands under a mini handheld fan. Pointless. Come on Blackgang dont let it slip in some places!…

I was very concerned about safety in the light of COVID for the following reasons: 1. Too many visitors allowed to enter the park - it felt far too crowded and was impossible to socially distance in places. 2. More could have been done to implement one way systems in busy / restricted areas. 3. The Rule of Six was not being observed. 4. Mask wearing was not enforced. 5. There wasn't a very visible staff presence around the park. 6. The only places I saw cleaning take place was on some of the rides. 7. No attempt was made by staff to advise visitors to socially distance, some areas of the park were completely crowded.…
