I've visited this glen many times. It is scenic and relaxing, with a fabulous waterfall, though returning visitors should be aware that the pub/restaurant (The Waterfall) at the entrance to the glen has sadly closed.

Well worth the walk down through the Glen to the sea, following the river, with it's waterfalls. If you want a quicker, easier route back then walk up the road. At the end of the walk is a secluded, rocky beach. We saw various butterflies...More

Lovely area, best to follow a map rather than the road signs but beautiful scenes, bring all your camera gear as the lighting at the falls is stunning.

This is one of our favourite Glens, with a beautiful waterfall. There are a number of steps to go down, but well worth it.

Glen Maye is beautiful. The waterfall is picturesque and the water is very clear. There are a few steps to get down to the waterfall and can be slippy/ muddy when it's been raining. Lovely walk down the river to a secluded beach. Would highly...More
