Had a talk and conducted tour of this old family run business for the production of traditionally smoked kippers. Very informative, especially on how the fires were controlled in the smokery. On site shop for purchases or they will send kippers by post.

Having walked in from Tynwald along the old railway line came straight passed this place so stopped not for kippers but a lovely crab bap:)

If you enjoy good kippers this is the place for you. The place is very old and they smoke the fish just right .I bought 12 pair to bring home

Only called in to buy their smoked bacon and to send skippers to friends back at home. There was no tours at the time we called so only visited the shop.

As fresh as kippers get. Absolutely beautiful sat in the courtyard with warm kipper bun and a cup of tea. Life doesnt get much better.
