Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stunning location 9 miles south of Dunbar off A1. Clean and very well kept. Caravan was lovely and well stocked. We booked a dog friendly long weekend and took throws and our own vacuum so we could leave it clean. The beach is stunning and we were lucky with the weather. The restaurant is good, although we had a long wait to have our order taken. The staff are lovely. This is a quiet getaway type of place, not for party animals, very family orientated and a lot of older people. It suited us perfectly and there is a brilliant kebab shop in Dunbar, which we have used previously, which suited my Egyptian husband. We went up the coast and did the "Golf Coast" but going south is equally as easy and beautiful. Not far from Edinburgh or south to Bamburgh, St Bees, Alnwick etc in Northumberland. You have the best of everything here. Spent Sunday watching dolphins and seals in the bay, just sitting in the sun. The dog was exhausted but happy. My ambition in life is to own a caravan here, I loved it so much!!!!!!!

Pease Bay such a beautiful cove with great sandy beach. But sadly no view of any of that from your caravan. The caravans in Pease bay are so tightly packed in allowing the only view of the caravan in front of you. Because of this you can hear complete movement and conversations from the vans next door and in front. Such a shame as the advertising and description etc does not show this. I did ask for a change of van with a better view but I was told they all have the same!
The caravan we rented was adequate with plenty of towels and clean bedding. Shower room a bit tired and needing a deep clean. Sadly not a good experience from Pease Bay and would not return.

Been going here every year for over 20 years but disappointed this year , the shop has got a lot more expensive , the complex is poor , no sit in breakfast available , the dinner menu very poor and expensive , bar not cleaned from the night before , is a shame because it could be so much better , change the disco bit to a softplay for the kids or build a pool , bring back a decent menu , only site I've ever Been to that doesn't do a breakfast , verdant letting the site go down hill. Never been the same since they took it over.

Best kept secret. Lovely golden sands. Clean beach and clean water.

When tide is out there are lots of rock pools on the far end at the sandstone cliffs to explore. Great fun for kiddies.

Access through Pease Bay holiday park.

We have owned a caravan on site for more than 10 years. We have a lovely pitch with great views However the site fees have increased year on year and are now really expensive.
This season we have found the prices in the shop and bar have increased exponentially. Ie; £2.75 for a tin of beans and Almost £8 for a glass of wine. I find that incredible and more like city prices. I don’t think there is any need for the huge recent increase.
My suggestion to anyone visiting odd to bring what need and enjoy the beach and lovely walks in the area.

Just stayed for 4 nights at Pease Bay and had a great time. We were lucky with the weather and made good use of the beautiful beach and cove with our dogs. Caravan was very comfortable with large seating area and dining table. Beds were very comfortable and bedding good quality. Nice touch of milk, coffee and tea being available when we arrived. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely clean and peaceful campsite right on the beach front. Ideal for families with dogs. Impressed with how clean the caravan was and they provided cleaning products, tea and coffee sachet, loo rolls and towels were provided. Despite us bringing our own just incase as usually these things aren't included. The week we chose was particularly quiet because Scottish children were back at school. Therefore there was only entertainment on the weekends an us staying Mon to Friday meant there wasn't anything on an evening which was a shame as the teenager was a bit board. The beach is ideal and tgere is also a woodland walk at the carpark entrance. Staff were lovely, the onsite shop is cheap ! There is an asda and Macdonalds close by. North Berwick is worth a visit for its shops and views. A relaxing, quiet break was had.

An area of outstanding natural beauty ruined by overdevelopment of a holiday park. I cannot believe planning permission has allowed this monstrosity to be so dominant and overdeveloped.
