went here for coffee as Dinosaur Isle was booked up for the day and needed somewhere warm as it was really cold and windy outside. nice large cafe. had hot chocolate and coffee. we also had a bit of victoria sponge which was really tasty. definately recommend the cake. they alsio do family golf outside which is good for the whole family. easily accessible from the beach and main road. free parking for people using the cake or golf.

A great game of pitch and putt followed by a most enjoyable ice cream - perfect. Will go back again to play the other course.

Family Golf Trip
Aug 2020 • Family
Been here many times before. I am not a fan of golf admittedly, but I do like it here, namely the 9 hole red flag course, it always creates good fun and competition in the family. The golf cost £18 for a family, good value in my view and the staff were really pleasant. I have only given an average on this visit as we would have liked a cake and hot drink afterwards but the selection was poor so did not partake. I will no doubt visit again as the kids love the course once C19 has passed safely. Best wishes to all. Per Ardua 96.

If you want a game of pitch and pitch , yes that's right , the greens are just like the rest of the course , very poor .

Lovely lunch by the sea!!
Aug 2019
Me and my partner visited Browns with family and we shared a really nice lunch. We visited the day of the scooter run in August and watched all the scooters go by whilst enjoying being on the seafront. We would recommend Browns to family of small and large for lunch and the family golf.

Great allergy friendly options
Sep 2019 • Family
Visited this cafe with my children and parents in law. We are not easy to feed, both boys have allergies and I'm a vegetarian. This cafe had many vegan options and we were able to feed both boys, even the fussy one, with ease. Very impressed, we all enjoyed our lunch and we will be visiting again. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely pitch and putt, lots of different courses, white, blue, yellow and red. Played the red course today, good fun and good exercise. Latte and cake to finish. Food a bit pricey but golf good value.

Abusive management/stag towards children
Aug 2019 • Family
Disgusting management style whom went out of their way to upset a child... So not for the first time we visited the cafe for a late lunch, the food as always was on par without quibble or complaint. And not for the first time our son of 6 years old started playing the piano, it’s fair to say he is enthusiastic but not yet talented. And he is neither rough or abusive to playing whilst enjoying himself. This I note, was after several other people of differing ages had played. And this I also note was not, by far, our first day to the cafe where we had often experiences people playing (or attempting to play) the same piano. No trouble of any kind to anyone that I had seen, nor had I seen anyone being asked NOT to play, or a note, notice or sign saying the piano was not for public use. However upon what became our last visit to the cafe, our son was approached by a gent who somehow managed to upset our son saying he couldn’t play and to clear off (I note I’m using my sons words). Upon seeing our son upset, as parents and startled adults seeing an upset child, we returned to the piano with our son with no sign of anyone around. There was no one at the counter at the time to see if there was any cctv, but as it appeared to be a disgruntled customer (not liking the joys of a child’s somewhat piercing piano playing), we let him start playing when the current playing child had finished playing. This time the man returned barely a few minutes in where again he was outspoken, though this time about it being a private piano (despite previous experience). At this point I apologised and raised my concern of his tone of voice to our son. I pointed out that he had checked with us, but this guy (whom I have since found out was the manager) has a track record for only raising the issue with on tutored/well trained pianists. And that despite raising that there should have been a note or a sign (which was argued quite impolitely), 2 days later there was no sign (just passing the door where the piano is - by this time he’d lost our custom). I don’t condone bullying of any kind, but his attitude towards a child (and worse so as it was our own son) is, quite frankly, disgusting.
