My wife and I chose to visit Amazon world over the Isle of Wight zoo, partly due to our visit being in November and therefore with the majority of animals being indoors it would be warmer, and partly due to wanting a difference experience to a traditional zoo. In addition, I like to support organisations that are conservation conscious We... More

What an amazing place! I came here with my 9 year old son, on his inset day! The staff were fantastic! Couldn't do enough for us, even letting us start again when the last admissions time had passed! The Red Panda's were my favourite as I have never seen one that close & they're so cute! But the Sloth won... More

This is an interesting and exciting place place for younger children. Excellent value. You don't need good weather to visit as a large amount is indoors. Would highly recommend

Good Free Car Park. Small Cheap Restaurant. Good Adventure Playground. £35 for a Family. Very interesting. Animals very visible - and not 'hiding away' as in many Zoos. Nice to be able to get in the Wallaby and Lemur enclosure with the animals. The Sloth was very interesting and again very visible. Were the animals well cared for ? Apparently... More

A great 'little' zoo. If you enter the ring tailed lemur enclosure don't be surprised if you end up with one or two sitting on your shoulders/head. Knowledgeable keepers and a great little café too.
