Lots of animals

There were quite a few animals to see, mostly inside. There are birds walking freely around inside. I recommend taking the family and visiting the kids will love it.

My wife and I visited this zoo park as 'somewhere different'. We were staying on the Isle of Wight for a 'New Year Weekend Break'. This zoo is definitely different to a normal zoo. All the animals are from the Amazon area. We spent a couple of hours here and most of it is undercover. Helpful if if the weather... More

We came here on Saturday whilst visiting the IOW for the weekend. Nice little place with lots of different animals - saw my fist ever Sloth! Staff were very helpful and the animals seemed very content. The Lemur enclosure is a must as you can walk in amongst them all, and if you are lucky (like my other half) they... More

Visited this with my ex boyfriend last year (May 2015), he absolutely loved it. Lots of animals to see and we luckily had great weather too. I have to say I thought the zoo to be a little small, but definitely great for a day out for kids and family or for animal lovers. The prices for drinks or toys... More

Its a really good zoo with enthusiastic staff who are friendly and devoted to the animals. My partner has adopted the penguins so she was so exited to see them. A really good afternoon out with the family.

My wife and I chose to visit Amazon world over the Isle of Wight zoo, partly due to our visit being in November and therefore with the majority of animals being indoors it would be warmer, and partly due to wanting a difference experience to a traditional zoo. In addition, I like to support organisations that are conservation conscious We... More

What an amazing place! I came here with my 9 year old son, on his inset day! The staff were fantastic! Couldn't do enough for us, even letting us start again when the last admissions time had passed! The Red Panda's were my favourite as I have never seen one that close & they're so cute! But the Sloth won... More
