We had just arrived for a mid week break in Blairgowrie and visited this pub on a very wet and windy day. We were soaked through and also had our very wet German Shepherd, Bruce, with us but we were welcomed in by the staff...More

Popped in after I've been wandering about in the sunshine and I've got some time to kill before I meet my friend in an hour or so. Upon entering the bar, there are two doors, left or right, I chose left and ended up in...More

Excellent real ale pub. Great choice of taps and incredibly friendly staff and owner. And Charlie the German Pointer is lovely. Forget "the W-word" up the road, this place is ace. Oh and there's a proper open fire for those chilly days.

Well ‘canny man’, where do we start? Do you expect all pubs to be full in the afternoon or just the ones you frequent? Temperature is a subjective matter so that is just your opinion. So far so good but what I find most objectionable...More

Great 'proper pub' atmospher that should accompany real ale. No airs and graces, but good beer, great staff, not to forget Charley the dog. In my eyes, the best pub in Blair.

Such a good place. The vicar might be there, Charlie will definitely be there, and if you have questions about field hockey (the Olympics were on when we were there) or the excellent beers they have, they are happy to discuss both. This is a...More
