Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Absolutely fantastic! Lovely couple : warm, welcoming and very patient!! My daughter went in to make one clock and came out with 2 and a canvas. Extremely reasonable on price and a huge educational experience as well as great fun! Thank you so much. Keep up the good work!!

Reasonably priced activities which is a rare find on the seaside. My little girl had the best time making her one of a kind clock!

What a great way to spend an hour doing something completely new. Fantastic value for money too.
We popped in (no need to book) we were welcomed by a very polite young man called Will 👍🏻 and full instructions given. The owners were really friendly and helped our two girls (9yrs) to create something completely unique, makes a welcome change from pottery painting.
Would highly recommend, shame we aren’t on holiday a little longer, we would go again!!

Took our 5&3 year olds here today on a rainy day. I was so impressed - it's fun for all ages, non messy and a fun and different thing for everyone to enjoy. The couple running the cafe are super friendly and allow the kids to crack on themselves and create fun art, while guiding them on the best ways to create something pretty. I would strongly recommend.

Great for a rainy day. Our 4 and 6 year old boys are very proud of the the clocks they made and are looking forward to hanging them in their bedrooms when they get home. Reasonably priced for an activity plus something to keep at the end. Well worth a visit. Patient, friendly owners.

We didn’t need to prebook and the kids were able to choose what they wanted to do immediately. Our kids were aged 5 and 7 and all chose a clock. The lady explained the process to them and off they went. They each designed something completely unique and original. The clocks were dried using a hairdryer and then placed into boxes.

The kids thoroughly enjoy this place, we come every time that we stay in Ilfracombe (about once a year). It’s a gentle way to produce some art in a fun and different way.

Inexpensive and entertaining way to spend half an hour or so.

Lovely little business where our daughter got creative and made a useful item.

For £13.50 she had fun making a design for a clock on a spinning wheel with paints.

Bargain and highly entertaining.

She made it for her room but such a gift would have been welcomed by the grandparents or other good friends.

Enjoyed supporting locals too 😊

Children (4, 4, 5 and 7) loved it here, managed to create a great clock and painting..normally arts and craft activities cost money and result in a average looking pot but everything turns out looking good here! Well worth it.
