Worth the climb, like the Chapel, although this one is longer. Statue of the 14 year old girl who fell to her death in 2000, is a very sombre reminder of how dangerous the cliffs are.

Almost anywhere you go in Ilfracombe is hilly, but this particular headland is the best. You get good views round Ilfracombe and out to sea on a fine day. It is worth the effort climbing it.

Truly beautiful views, definitely worth climbing to the top of the hill. Sat and ate lunch here and I just couldn't get over how amazing the view is.

As a not so young retired couple, we puffed and panted our way to the top. Well worth the climb as the views are stunning.

It was lovely, we really enjoyed our "quintessential British seaside experience"....... apart from the seagull attack on me at Capstone Parade. We bought pasties to enjoy and I jokingly said to my husband "be careful I read about seagull attacks" (I don't think he believed...More

Not sure if we took the best route up, but well worth it for the views of a evening sunset! You do need to keep children close though!
