Tunnel Beaches is a little piece of tropical paradise in the South West. I had always dreamt of getting married by the sea and I was lucky to find this venue. We were very lucky with the weather and managed to have the ceremony and dinner outside (they do have a plan b in case it rains). All our guests... More

A waist of money just the sea and rocks don't understand why you should have to pay to go in the sea and sit on the rocks

We weren't sure what we were going to see, the tunnel is interesting as it's been hand carved but to be honest we were there a couple of minutes and paid for the privilege, I don't usually expect to pay to visit a beach and that's basically what we did, I suppose warmer weather would make your stay longer but... A great place for families with young children. There is a pool which gets covered at high tide but remains as a safe swimming/paddling pool when tide recedes. Good for snorkeling and rockpooling too. They even do weddings! There is a cafe, shop, toilets, changing facilities, what more could you want? Children love the exciting tunnel entrance. There is a... More

Visited on an October afternoon with partner and 2 children aged 14 and 11. We really enjoyed this visit, the lovely lady in the ticket office warned us that it wasn't long until high tide, but we chose to go down to see the beaches anyway. The "Gentlemens" beach was closed for a wedding, but we went down to the... More

Our 2nd visit to Tunnels. A simple beach with rock pools, climbing and great to watch the tide come in/go out and the lagoon appear/disappear. Quite small with limited areas to explore and being a wedding venue, the cafe/restaurant area is frequently closed to visitors. In May it was warm enough to swim, in October we stuck with skimming stones... More

The cafe and the site is really interesting and worth a visit, however, don't bother taking your dogs. We had already paid £7 for us and our eldest son to go through the tunnels to the beaches when, as we were about to enter the first of the 3 short tunnels, we were informed dogs weren't allowed on the beach....
