    Glad I visited
The tunnels beaches are a very nice place to visit. You can swim in the tidal pool, however, we didn't due to it being a bit chilly the day. There's a cafe that sells cafe that sells lovely coffee and souvenirs, etc.

    Gorgeous little find in Devon
Randomly saw a TikTok about this place whilst here in Devon so we have it a visit and we’re so glad we did. Even with the weather being a bit rainy and cool we all had a swim in the gorgeous pool, the water was amazing, beach shoes saved us and the walks across the rocks and in the little ponds on water were incredible. We’d love to come back here in the warmer weather it’s absolutely beautiful. The water was weirdly warm once your in which shocked us. Visited with a family of 3 kids (14, 7 and 5) and they loved it. Lots to explore and see. Highly recommend and worth the small entry fee.

    A little gem
We found Tunnels beach whilst browsing the net looking for places to visit on our holiday in Somerset. As soon as I saw the pictures I knew we had to go. First impressions from the entrance were wow and it only got better. Weather wasn’t the best, we’d had storms all morning. As we arrived the tide was going out so we were able to see the beach in its granduer. It was lovely to get your shoes off and dip your toes. We decided to stay and have a drink in the lovely bar area looking out over the bay, We would like to thank Kieron for his hospitality, we had a lovely chat about the local area. He is a credit to your team. We will definitely return.

    Tying the Knot in Style!
Granted we’re slightly bias, but this was the most incredible wedding day ever!! We travelled down from Bristol for two nights with family & friends, hiring the Woodlands, Bath House & Courtyard accommodation. The rooms were immaculate, modern & everything you could need. The communal spaces are perfect for getting together with friends & whiling away the evening - all our guests were beaming when we gave them the tour! I like to think a good marker for a venues service is how they handle problems & when there was a boiler blip, the staff had a plumber out to resolve immediately, top marks. Onto the wedding day & we were lucky enough to have glorious sunshine all day! The ceremony was on the outside terrace, followed by drinks & canapés, whilst we took advantage of the private beach for some stunning wedding photos! We had our wedding breakfast on the first floor, with the glass frontage open, to give the most amazing panoramic views of the coast with a lovely breeze to cool you from the setting sun. The food was divine, loads of different options served via a very classy bbq buffet & plenty of it. We had so many lovely comments from our guests about the fantastic food! The staff were helpful & attentive all day & night, we didn’t have a wedding planner to lead, but you could tell these guys knew what they were doing, transitioning from one space to another, for the band or cutting the cake etc, seamless! This place will forever hold a special place in our hearts, I could even give the sub zero sea swimming another try for a bit of nostalgia!! If you’re looking for a wedding venue - look no further! This place ticks every box & then some! Thank you guys!

    Lovely little beach
Had a lovely day visiting tunnels beaches. We stumbled along the entrance by accident and paid the entrance fee (the fee is a fair price and means not overcrowding on this little gem) it was very informative with pictures and boards explaining the history of the tunnels and when you got to the beach it wasnt normal sand but more like the black gritt sand which came off alot easier . A beautiful little bar which was also a wedding venue and when the tide was out the pool was large ebough and sage enough for the kids to swim without being to worried . The entrance fee ensures any cheap scates steer clear meaning the beach was busy but not overcrowded Defiantly worth a visit

    Beautiful views and rock pools
I’d found this on trip advisor and was excited to go, I was very impressed and so was my 9 year old. The rock pools have crabs, shrimp and little fish in, the sand isn’t like the sand on other beaches , grey grit which was very easy to wash off and actually left your feet feeling very smooth. Ideally go when it’s warm as the weather wasn’t the warmest but was still a very enjoyable day. We paid £13 for the 5 of us to get in, which was an all day ticket so you can come and go as you please. Toilets were clean and a lovely little cafe. The wedding venue was beautiful. The views are amazing definitely worth going.

    Fab hidden gem!
What an amazing place to visit! Small fee to pay to get in but absolutely worth it. Views are beautiful and gorgeous to swim in the pools. The children loved the pools as well, good for rock pooling as well as jumping in/swimming and playing. The facilities were pretty clean, family changing space with toilet. Nice shop for ice creams and drinks, and a proper cafe if you wanted lunch although we didn't try it. Would definitely recommend

    Must see attraction
A lovely experience started at reception speaking to Jill who was very friendly, informative and reassuring as my Wife had slight reservations about spending time in the tunnels. Jill quickly advised of what to expect and we took on board her vast knowledge of the attraction and paid our entry fee. The tunnels are lined with some really interesting information of their history and the beaches and pools are stunning, unspoilt and very clean and tidy. You can hire deckchairs and stay all day if the weather is good. We took lots of pictures as the scenery was beautiful. We couldn’t visit the Mens beaches / pool because of a wedding but this didn’t spoil our experience and Jill had also mentioned this prior to purchasing the tickets. A must see if in town, thanks again to Jill who is a real credit to the attraction.

    A special part of Devon
I have no idea how anyone can give anything less than 5 stars for this incredible little hidden gem. There’s a very small entry fee and unless you want to swim there is very little to do. That being said, you’re paying to view a beautify little piece of history and if you wanted to you can swim in a very rare UK tidal pool. The views are out of this world and the history behind it is is fascinating. It’s easily one of the coolest spots I’ve ever visited in the UK.

    Afternoon well spent!
Tunnels beaches has been on my must visit beach list for a while now, and today I finally got to go. It was a beautiful sunny May day, and we leisurely walked around the tunnels, reading all the history and chuckling at some of the news. Once out the tunnels, the beach that awaited us was just stunning (photos do not do it justice). Well worth the admission fee.

What a great place to visit & it's history is equally as good a highlight on our recent visit to Ilfracombe. I would thoroughly recommend and also at a great price.

A beautiful location in Devon, very peaceful and stunning views/scenery. We also enjoyed a pasty, donut and coffee from the little cafe. A must do if in the area!
