This exciting and award winning, all weather, educational attraction provides a fascinating insight into the watery world of North Devon. The aquarium houses a diverse collection of local aquatic life in beautifully recreated natural habitats. The exhibits provide visitors with a unique zoned journey experience starting from the source of an Exmoor stream, down river to an estuary, local rockpool, Ilfracombe Harbour to Lundy and its marine reserve. Complimentary children's quizzes following fun trails are offered on entry. The aquarium also has a funky fish gift shop and a cafe, selling locally sourced delicious items.

Staff were very knowledgable and very welcoming but the actual aquarium is very small. I personally think it is a little expensive for what it is, you can easily walk in and back out again in 10 minutes. It can get quite stuffy in there...More

The staff in this place were excellent and really trying their hardest to make the best of a poor place. However, that's all the positive there was especially given the cost of entry at £4.95 (I may have given one more star had it not...More

This is certainly one of the smallest aquariums we have been to but it definitely had the most knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. The aquarium focuses on the species local to the area and is great if your child is fascinated by rockpooling! We spent a...More

Lovely aquarium of local fish. My 7 and 4 year old were interested which is saying something. Very reasonably priced.
