Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our family of 2A and 2B (12,10) had an awesome time here. We had a full on hour of quads and barely stopped the whole time! Considering the rain for the last few weeks, it was only a little muddy and the few puddles were plenty enough and fun but not deep. Fabulous!

Went axe throwing and was at the side of the yard with just 3 targets. We kept having to make way for quads and motorbikes. There was just axes and not throwing stars like similar attractions. The cost was also more expensive.

The person taking the lesson was friendly gave little advice. The axes mostly missed the target or did not stick in. I would have like to have seen throwing stars which would have been easier to use. The score card had been previously used and was muddy. We were asked if we would like to keep this but declined. I feel that this should have been a new score card for each group. It would have also been better if it was made of card.

The toilets were in poor condition and not clean. The floors were wet and the system did not flush for my wife.

The car park was clean and tidy, we phone to say that we were coming and the advice on how to find the place was very friendly and helpful.

Was a little nervous as I’d not ridden a quad bike off road, but I needed have worried. Bron who took just myself and my partner out, explained exactly what we would be doing and which route we would be taking. Lovely young man and can’t thank him and keypitts enough for this great experience.

We visited whilst on holiday. Wow! What an amazing place and amazing team. My youngest was very nervous when doing quad biking. The team were unreal with him, spending time 1:1 and being so patient and supportive towards him. He actually made it onto the fields and was proud as punch! The whole quad biking experience is so much fun and the people who guide you are great!

Partner and I went quad biking and axe throwing last week. The axe throwing was a bit basic and the lad who oversaw us could have been slightly more enthusiastic. However, the quad biking was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, it was a fantastic experience, with great views and bikes which were great fun to drive! Would thoroughly recommend the quad biking!

Welcomed by Lewis who took us through the axe throwing very safely and some good rumoured competition between 68 yr old Dad and two sons. Lewis then clearly briefed before coaching us through the first run in the very capable Land rover 4x4. The group then split between two 4x4 vehicles with Ash/Lewis & Aaron/Duncan driving. At all times the instruction was clear and you had full confidence in what/where you were going. We also were taken through a 'hairy bit after in the specialist 4x4 which was brilliant! All 3 of us had big grins and really enjoyed the holistic experience. We highly recommend this experience as safe and highly enjoyable. Thank you Lewis and his boss Duncan

What a fantastic place !!
Very efficent and safe.
I took my took granchildren, age 9 and 10. The 10 year-old boy is an adrenaline junky and has been on quad bikes before. The 9 year-old girl has not done it before and was very nervous. The staff at Keypitts managed them both extremely well and catered for their different needs and expectations. We had Callum as our guide and he was absolutely briliant. Thanks, Callum.
We first all did the Novice course which was great fun and more than enough for my granddaugher. She loved it. Then, my grandson and I did the Skills and Superskills. What a blast !! Callum took us across fields at high speeds, up hills, down hills, along gulleys, through mud, along tracks. It was so exciting and huge fun !! Thanks to JJ for being helpful and taking a super photo.
Overall, a fantastic experience and very highly recommended.

This is SOOOO much fun!!! We had the best time ever at Keypitts today. I really highly recommend it if you’re in or visiting the area. The staff are so friendly and the quad biking runs are awesome! You take in some nice views as you scale up and down the slopes of the hills, between fields and tracks. It’s a real rush which I think we’ll remember as a family for years to come. If you’ve got time, the axe throwing is fun too - give it a go!

Weather was terrible, after all it was the end of July! We had a party of 16 aged from 6 to 56....all were catered for quickly and efficiently after a number of us had bought some waterproofs as the ground was very muddy. Lewis sorted us into groups, we were checked for our ability to ride the quad and then off we went in our various groups. I was in a more advanced group and Lewis built us up and checked our skill levels, once he was confident we could handle the machines, it really was full throttle. Loved every minute, on the edge of fear and excitement for at least an hour. I was in a Super Skill group so did the full experience and would highly recommend to others. I was the old duffer but managed to keep up with the young lads and lewis kept us all together and kept the excitement ticking along.
Take old waterproofs or old clothes you don't mind getting dirty if it's been wet or buy some while you're there (£10 and you keep them). Everything else is provided. I'd like to thank Lewis and the team for a great couple of hours, everyone loved it!
