We went to this pub several times during our stay as it faces west and the outside tables catch the evening sun, and it’s a good place to watch the world go by. The beer was good (and very cheap!) and the staff friendly. However,...More

The drinks were great, there is no doubt about that, but the service was better. The lady working on the bar was very bubbly and very helpful and that made our visit here a delight. I highly recommend stopping in for a few drinks.

We visited this pub on a couple of occasions. Cosy and friendly atmosphere. We were shown the rooms upstairs for hire. Very nicely decorated and spacious. We are considering booking a room for the summer.

A vast improvement to the decor with a distinct St Austell/BA twist. However I do hope it has not driven the characters from the place. Good to see food is now on offer, and we will be back to sample the menu. The Beer selection...More
