Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We walked up to the Castle a few times while staying in Tenby and enjoyed some great views. The history of the site is interesting.

Lovely part of a historic twon, and great for a picnic with views, out to sea, inland to the town, and down to the beaches and harbour.

There is not much of the castle left, and if that is what you want to see then there are far better places to go in Pembrokeshire. However it is worth going up to the castle mound for the views of Tenby and out to sea. You will also find the RNLI station on the side of the castle mound, which is also worth calling into.

Worth the short stroll just for the view. Plenty of seats and a stainless steel guide to what you are viewing .

A climb up the hill to what is left of the Castle is more for the surrounding views rather than exploring what is left of the castle.

Nice walk to the top and great views from what remains of the castle.

It’s very close to the lifeboat station and St Catherine’s island the so you can see a lot in one day.

A hill with views rather than a castle as such. There is little left of the castle itself. The views are good, though there are good views in various places in Tenby, so there is nothing particularly special about the place. If short on time, then this is not a priority.

Visited on Monday 18th October. There is not a lot of the castle remaining but still worth checking out. You get great views of Tenby and the beaches from there as well.
