Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Half a spa day with afternoon tea. A very enjoyable day. Receptionist was polite and friendly, the masseuse was excellent and I was very relaxed by the end.
Afternoon tea was delicious, one of the best I’ve had… particularly the lemon cake! with a splendid waiter. A lovely few hours with my best friend.
I did find the jacuzzi made my eyes sting but it only seemed to affect me.

Fantastic two days away at Heywood Spa. Amy was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. One of the best places to stay. We will be back.

Claire has done wonders with her hotel and spa, I would confidently say it’s probably in the top two in Tenby. Very highly recommend this hotel/spa/business

We visited the spa as non residential guests and really enjoyed the treatments we had. The therapist was Excellent and the therapy room is very relaxing. There is a lot of building work going on and believe me this is a good thing as the spa area is looking very tired. They have refurbished the hotel lobby, corridors and changing rooms (that we could see) which are beautifully decorated.... Although it feels a bit uncared for and starting to look a little neglected already! E.g cobwebs in the changing rooms, paint starting to flake off and marks on the paint work. It just all feels a bit unloved. The towels are thin and similar to those you would find in a hospital, not very luxurious sadly. The pool area is clean but in need of refurbishing and there is nowhere to sit so you either have to be in the jacuzzi, sauna or pool... We were hoping to be able to lounge around and relax for a bit but there isn't this option. Having said this, they are clearly spending money on the hotel so it will be lovely I'm sure when it's finished, hopefully with more spa facilities.

We spent 2 nights here for my husbands birthday, arrived Friday night having booked into the restaurant and ordered mussels Welsh lamb, and lasagne. We had to send the lasagne back as it was totally over cooked and the service was slow. However the staff made us feel really welcome and our family room was clean very comfortable with excellent wifi. The breakfast was superb a great choice and the scrambled eggs and smoke salmon delicious. The swimming pool and changing rooms were great lovely and clean and a hot bubbly jacuzzi. The owner Pete was charming and very eager to please. Our only complaint was the hot water was switched off my mistake so we had to wait, however the staff were dry apologetic. Great location well done to all the team we would return.

Stayed in the Heywood mount last week. From the moment my wife and I arrived at the hotel we were treated exceptionally well. The receptionist greeted us with a smile and informed us of all the points of interest in Tenby.

We had dinner at the hotel and we were greeted by the GM before we sat down to eat and were given a complimentary drink before we ate. Great touch!

The rooms were clean and cosy and breakfast was just right for the day ahead.

Will definitely be back soon! Thank you
