On the one hand, this castle is an unspoilt gem. The stairs to the towers may be a Health and Safety nightmare, with few hand rails and slippy stone steps, and there may be nothing to look at - but at least it's quite authentic....More

What can we say worst £5.50 each ever spent . the castle itself looked attractive but there were no signs, notices or information. It was being prepared for Halloween celebrations in 3days time and this was clearly more important to the staff than their paying...More

The best way to see this castle in my opinion is to hike in from the direction of a Tenby along the coastal path. We hiked in from the Youth Hostel near Manorbier and it was absolutely beautiful and then you come around a corner...More

Oooh, there is a lot of outdoor and it is below the village towards the beach, a pretty exposed spot. In wet weather the steps on the spiral staircases could also be tricky. The café is small with only very few places... More
