    Well worth a visit
Good presentation, and an interesting place to visit, with items well explained. A delightful small Tudor house, which gave one an understanding of what life might have been like centuries ago. It was worth it just to see the look of horror on children’s faces on learning that Tudors slept sitting up and that any visitors would share the same (exceedingly small bed) with the rest of the family - only the baby looked likely to get a decent night’s sleep! There were many items that visitors were encouraged to touch. The children’s toys were particularly popular…. and not necessarily confined to those still at school - lost count how many goes it took to get the ball into the small cup ….but I succeeded (eventually!). The staff there really knew their stuff, and were clearly very happy to share their knowledge.

Lovely and informative visit to small house
Lovely and informative visit to this small National Trust property, on three floors. Jam packed with interesting Tudor artifacts, architecture and history, with knowledgeable guides. Really enjoyed our visit.

    Well worth a visit
This was a truly interesting experience with knowledgeable guides who brought it to life. We took our grandchildren aged 8 and 11 and although they were initially not overly enthusiastic they soon became fascinated by what life was like in Tudor times and we were there much longer than we had thought. Woud definitely recommend a visit

    Old Tenby
Well worth a visit. The interior is well preserved and all the rooms have authentic (not original) type furniture. The staff are superb and have plenty of time for inquisitive children and more enlightened adults. Give yourself up to an hour to view and follow the children as they go on their own treasure trail.

    Worth a visit
While in Tenby we decided to check out this property. As its owned by the N.T and we're members, it was free admission but for non members, it was only £6.50 entry. This property is not open every day, so please check website. We visited on a Thursday and were one of the first entries through the door. It got busy very quickly. The property is small inside and spread out over 3 floors. There really isn't lots to see in there but you get a good feel of how they lived in those past times. I would still say it's worth visiting, after all it's a 15th century tudor property with wonderful architecture and original features. Good to pass an hour wandering around. The staff are knowledgeable and have some good stories to tell.

    Small but Interesting
We visited as we were NT members. I’m not sure it would be worth paying to see as the house is made up of just 3 rooms and a small herb garden. We also had to queue to enter as they were operating a one-in-one-out system. Rooms are well laid out with reproduction furniture. There is plenty of information and staff are enthusiastic.

    Interesting Look Back in Time
What an interesting National Trust property that you must visit when visiting Tenby. We visited in March 2024. The house is full of surprises that illustrate its use throughout the years. Really helpful Trust guides on every floor. 10/10

The house is only open Thursdays and Saturdays, but if you're in the area it's well worth a visit. It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside, like the Tardis, and the guides are very helpful and informative and bring it to life.
