I go several times a week all year round. I love walking the dog at a clean and peaceful place. Difficult parking at times.

A brilliant walk along the beach from Ainsdale to Southport but beware there is no where to exit the beach until you reach Southport and that's after nearly 4 miles! We had a good walk during which my dog had a great time off his lead. We had to climb the sand dunes at Ainsdale to get on the beach.... More

Visited some of the new bars on Station Rd which are all fantastic so needed a good walk the following morning to clear the old head. A little disappointed (although it could have had something to do with the headache!) - whilst they've stopped cars going down now I think the damage has been done sadly

Miles of sand and lovely and clean, we love it, the dogs love it and its on our doorstep! Southport just up the coast and the mighty Liverpool 20mins away. Fabulous!!

The dogs love this beach. Miles of open space. The beach is not very wide unlike Crosby and beaches of the same coast line. The area gets really REALLY windy.

Ainsdale beach offers you acres of sand dunes fronted by the golden sands of the beach. On a fine day you'll see Southport Pier to the north and Blackpool Tower in the distance. On very clear days you can even see the mountains of the Lake District. To the south, beyond the Burbo Bank Wind Farm you'll be able to... More

The beaches in our area (Southport) are very different from other beaches that we know. The sea is even at high tide quite far, but not in Ainsdaile. Ainsdaile Beach is like Fuerteventura Beach. Broad beach, lovely sand and sand dunes, waves and sometimes very windy. Each day during Christmas we saw kiteboarding and such things. The beach is allowed... More
