Lovely walk down here, numerous shops, bars, eateries etc. There is some lovely historic features placed all the way down here it is well worth the 20-30 minute walk all the way down/up

Since our last review of Lord Street in June 2015, things have definitely got far worse. An increase in empty shops. An increase in charity shops. There is no substance here any more. The surrounding areas are just as bad (Chapel Street and Eastbank Street)....More

I visited Southport a few weeks ago and in one of the shops I seen a wooden totem pole for sale can't remember which shop. Can anyone help. thanks

I seem to remember an Indian art shop on lords street, I think it was at one end. Very interesting shop. I wish I could remember which end???

There are 2 Wetherspoons on Lord Street where you can get fish and chips, I think Friday is Fish and Chips day so you get a drink included too. There is a large fish and chips at the foot of the pier behind the carousel... More
