This was our second tour" all day tour "with Michael, 9 am to 7 pm ( the other 5 yers ago) We had the most delightful day touring the Sussex country side, We saw the real England charming villages, thatched roofs, no lines, no tourist. We took the Gatwick express train from London and meet Michael in the lobby of the Hilton hotel a short walk when you get off the train, and away we went in his comfortable van.Learning all about the history of this area .We went as far south as Bosham. We spent 8 night in London and this was a perfect day to get out of city and explore the country side. We highly recommend. Michael is a national treasure to England a true historian and a fun guy to hand with all day. Also a very good driver ! At the end of the day he dropped off off at the train station and we easily took the train back to London to our, then cab to our hotel. Simple easy and filled with lovely stories .

Michael Osborne took my husband and me on a 2 day tour of Stonehenge and Bath. He is delightful and knowledgeable guide. Michael took us on “roads less traveled” to give us a true feeling of Cotscombe countryside. Michael arranged for us to have High Tea at The Baths which was a perfect way to end our time with him.

Michael Osborne is an absolute hero. His planning and execution of our two days visiting Stonehenge and Bath were simply amazing. Michael has carefully planned each activity to maximize the guest's interest. His knowledge of routes, sites and other every detail make the days pass quickly. He drives a Ford Transit van only a few months old and spotlessly clean.
It would be impossible to overrate his time with my wife and me.

We had a whole day to wait for a flight from Gatwick. Michael picked us up from Gatwick and we did a tour of small villages around that area. Michael is a well-qualified tour guide! He’s very knowledgeable about the history and is a language buff as well! He was extremely interesting and filled us in with some very unusual and amusing anecdotes about the places we saw!
If anyone is looking to do a tour of any area of Britain, I’d highly recommend you try Michael!

Michael is one of the most knowledgeable and friendly people I have ever met. He also happens to be a walking encyclopedia of British knowledge...and it does not stop there.

Michael will custom-make a tour to fit your needs as long as you need. You tell him exactly what you are looking for and how many days you have and he takes it from there.

I contacted Michael three weeks prior to my one-day visit to the Gatwick to tell him what my daughter and I were looking to do. This was the last day in the UK before returning to Texas from Gatwick airport. My daughter and I figured one last day 'of something different,' well it was the best day of my entire two-week trip to London and Paris. We saw things there is no possible way would have done it without Michael. So I will tell you that if you want an experience that is fit just for you and away from the crowd call Michael. We will certainly be back soon and he will be my first call! Thank you, Michael!!

I wanted to see specific places in South England and wasn't confident in driving myself. I hired Micheal to drive for me, but he did so much more than just that. He researched each location and hand crafted a tour just for me. It was phenomenal. The man loves his country and we gave him a challenge to research, which I could tell made his day. I've spent time with other tour guides that didn't like their job and it came through in their presentation, but Micheal loves it. In return, it made the tour ten times better. I especially recommend him for heritage tours because he will do the research for you and save you time. In fact, I think that's what I'm going to do on my next tour to the UK.

My husband and I had a day long layover in Gatwick and wanted to fill our day seeing as much as possible without going into the city. We happened to come across this tour option and we were so glad we decided to go forward. Michael is such a fantastic man, has great knowledge and pride of the area and it really shows as we takes you on a whimsical trip through the English countryside. We had non stop conversation, much too see and really got a true experience of what the area had to offer. We enjoyed a fantastic lunch at a local favorite cafe and were taught the proper way to "take tea". We hope to make another trip to the area and meet up with our new friend again!

I had a transit day in London on my way to Norway and wanted to maximize on my time there, so contacted Unique Tours of Britain. Michael Osborne's amazing tour checked off all the boxes on my wish list: oodles of fun historical antedotes, visits to castles, churches, fun local cafe for tasty food, drives thru glorious pastoral countryside...just a stellar day! It was like a private tour with your favorite college history professor! Michael was professional, courteous, flexible and congenial. His love for Britain is highly contagious. Thanks to Michael I met and chatted with many locals throughout the day - such a pleasant bonus and truly appreciated - Highly recommend.

I wife and I had a day to spend in the Gatwick airport area on our way to Croatia. Through the wonders of the Internet we found Mr. Michael Osborne, the owner of Unique Tours of Britain. We landed at Heathrow and due to a delayed transfer Mr. Osborne was forced to wait two hours for us to arrive at the Gatwick Hilton. Despite the delay he greeted us cheerily and began a extremely pleasant day touring southern England. This was a tour that took us away from the hustle and bustle of one then and the English motorways. We drove down country roads, some barely wide enough to accommodate two cars and passed through numerous small villages and hamlets, ultimately ending up in the little town of Bosham near the English channel. Mr. Osborne is a fountain of knowledge about English history I am the conversation never ended until he left us at our hotel at the end of the day. I would highly recommend spending time with him.

Had a 7 hr layover at Gatwick with my wife. We have spent a few days in London prior, so was going to catch the Gatwick Express to London, spend a few hrs walking/eating, then train it back to the airport. The day before leaving I found Unique Tours of Britain, with Michael. We are so happy we did!

It was SUCH a better way to spend the day
Picked us up from the airport, comfortable car, but most of all, saw a part of England I had never before and likely wouldn't ever been able to. Not to mention his depth of knowledge, being a nice person in general, and his PASSION for England. It's almost infectious. I'm still calling things "lovely"....

I highly recommend Michael for a tour of "the real" England, as Michael likes to put it. Whether u have a 4-5 hrs as a layover or u have him put together a week itinerary for a complete England/Ireland/Wales adventure!

Don't miss the yellow balloon!
