Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very important person in Scottish history but it is still just a statue.
I wouldn't come here to visit on its own but, obviously, if you're here for the castle or view why not?

An impressive figure on a mounted horse. Of course Robert means much to the Scots however the UK is chick a block full of statues.

A good photo op , right out front of Sterling Castle.

Just stunning and well kept and so large. Very prominent and in a nice setting to commemorate the battle. The tape loop of music and dialogue was useful.

We just had to stop into bannockburn whilst in the area for the opportunity of standing on one of history's most reknown and impacting battle grounds. Pays tribute to Bruce and tenacity of the Scots against supperior numbers. No doubt the fame of the battle has been enhanced by Mel and his big movie.
Definitely worth a visit.

Never visited before but decided to pop in on a cool windy day. Car park was quite empty seemed it was more dog walkers. Very good information boards at strategic locations adjacent a wide tarmac footpath. Excellent views all round. Area was very tidy. Recommend you visit if in the area

We called after been to the Wallace Monument. The visitor centre is free as is the site. It's not a long walk from the car park. Worth a visit. Car park is free.

The statue is impressive. The field is clearly the local dog walking area of choice. It was hard to concentrate on reading the information boards due to barking dogs and dogs being allowed to run up to us. There were more dog walkers than visitors on the site. I had hoped this would be an atmospheric visit but it was not.
