About
Visit one of Scotland's top attractions for an incredible family day out. Come and view giraffes, lions, elephant, tiger and meerkats. Take your chances with the cheeky monkeys in the Park's famous Macaque Drive-thru, walk with free-roaming lemurs in Lemur Land, catch the popular bird of prey shows, and take a walk exploring our Dinosaurs - all included in the price of your entry ticket. Our sea lions are finally back and enjoying their brand new habitat. Our indoor sea lion display won’t restart until later in the year, but you will be able to see them in their outdoor pool and find out more about how we care for them in our live keeper talks.

Had the best time at the safari park with my 9 And 6 year old boys! The boy at the pedalo boats with the dark hair and skin was really kind and polite and despite the weather he went and got rain jackets for us to sit on so we didn’t get soaked, my boys loved it so much, overall great experience!

We visited as an extended family party of 14, ages ranging from 1 to 65. Absolutely everyone had a fantastic day in spite of the usual 4 seasons Scottish weather. The park is well kept, the animals look well in their individual habitats and the keepers appear knowledgeable and passionate about the animals welfare. Inclusive activities included dinosaur experience, themed pedalos and amazing adventure playgrounds. Covered picnic areas are made available which enable families on a budget to keep the cost down. There are however, plenty of food outlets, additional fairground type rides and themed gift shops if you want to splurge. In my opinion, the best family day out in Scotland.

I was the person who had to drive an hour there and then drive back home as there is absolutely no way I would leave my dogs in such a hole,,it’s not kennels it’s a dog jail, tiny concrete cages and nobody keeping an eye on them,I wonder how the animals are kept if this is the way they treat dogs, disgusting doesn’t cover it ,will NEVER be back ,shame on you blair Drummond.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THE DOG KENNELS HERE. LEAVE YOUR DOGS AT HOME. I am crying while writing this review. When booking Blair Drummond online it was made clear to us we would be able to bring the dogs and leave them in the “kennels”. Our dogs are incredibly friendly and sociable so this sort of area usually suits them perfectly. I honestly wouldn’t leave a fly in here. Tiny, crammed, outdoor, cement. Surrounded by dogs laying on the concrete crying and howling to be let out. It was the worst thing I have ever seen in my life. To top this off the sign literally said “leave dogs at own risk”. What are they, jackets? They are animals. I have never felt so disgusted at a place for my pets in my entire life. Half of us had to make the hour drive back home in order to make sure the dogs were not staying in these horrendous conditions. I will never be back. Shame on you Blair Drummond. If this is what peoples loved pets are left in, I dread to think what sort of space the animals you care for are left in 😢😡

Visited for first time in a few years and really enjoyed the park. We ate at a small burger outlet near the shows and while the food was nice the prices were ridiculous. The seagulls were annoying but that's part of eating outside etc. Place wasn't too busy which was a blessing . The playgrounds were great for the kids, they wud have spent hours in there. Not somewhere you would visit every month but once or twice a year is really enjoyable.

Great day out on a lovely sunny day. Lots to see and do, we were never bored and didn't realise where the time had gone after seeing all the animals, plenty of picnic benches dotted around for when you need a wee break. Lots of different food options.
Well worth the entrance fee in my opinion with so much to do.

Hadn’t been there since we took the grandkids about 17 years ago. We just wanted to do something different and it turned out to be a good day out. Picnic tables everywhere if you want to take your own food and a barbecue area where the attendant will supply the coal and light it for you. We used the restaurant where the food was ok and reasonably priced. There are toilets everywhere and lots of hand washing stations. One thing that disappointed a wee bit was some of the animals were sheltering from the sun so they weren’t easily spotted. African animals sheltering from the sun in Scotland ??? Defies logic. We were really impressed by Hayley who was very knowledgeable about the rhinos, where we first met her. After that she turned up almost everywhere offering information on whatever animal you were looking at. She’s a lovely girl who clearly loves her job. There are loads of things for the kids to get up to in the adventure park section and yesterday it seemed like every school in Scotland had an outing. They were really having fun with the teachers always in close attendance.
We would recommend going to Blairdrummond, it’s a great day out for the whole family.

Hi, if you don't want to be stuck behind vehicles on the drive through then the best idea is to turn up early, its usually pretty free-flowing early.
have they got the mini bus on to take you round the drive throug reserve

Do you need to reserve a BBQ or can you just turn up and use them when you want to?

This is from Blair Drummond website 'If fancy cooking a BBQ, you’re welcome to use one of ours. Just ask on arrival – we’ll even provide the coal and light it for you, free of charge.'
What is the average length of time spent at the park?

How much are the attraction rides that require tokens? Trying to figure out how much pocket money to give my two for their visit with the grandparents! Thanks.

Sorry dont know how much the rides were. I know you need tokens. My grandkids love the play park and the dinasour area so we didn't bother with the rides

Best to contact the safari park direct to get a definitive answer. I don’t remember there being any height restrictions when going through the gates though.
