The distillery was very close to Stirling Castle and was recommended by an employee of the castle! Deanston is a "young" distillery, but very intimate and interesting. Also, Great Scotch!! Visited in July 2015.

Interesting tour of working distillery, with knowledgeable guide. Lovely cafe and gift shop, with a wide range of whiskies and whisky products. The whisky fudge is to die for - just ignore the calories!!

This distillery and the restaurant are well worth visiting. The tour is interesting and educational. I have been a few times with friends from other countries - all have enjoyed their visit and have certainly enjoyed tasting the malt. They have also enjoyed the restaurant which is reasonably priced for tasty food.

Booked the 10am tour and was pleasantly surprised to find that we were the only two on it! Our tour guide was excellent; happy to answer the somewhat... More

This was our first distillery tour and it got us completely hooked. Andrew was a fantastic tour guide--he was patient while still moving us along and gave us all the information with a smile on his face.

If you like an interesting guided tour, then this is the place for you! Had a fantastic tour around this distillery. The young guide was very knowledgeable on the subject of distilling whiskey and answered all the questions asked without hesitation. Amazed just how much goes in to making whiskey. Attached restaurant brilliant. Can't recommend enough!!
