This attraction is well worth a visit. Some local free car parking. The views are magnificent and you can see Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle from here. Walk across the bridge and take your memory back into the history this area has seen.

Well worth a quick stop if your interested in Scottish history and even if not, this lovely old cobbled bridge is still worth seeing.

Really just another bridge but if you are in town, it only takes a moment to drive by or even to go for a quick walk.

Stirling Bridge offers beautiful views. Cross the bridge on foot. It is closed to vehicle traffic. Lovely old stone bridge.

Lovely 15th century bridge, near the site where William Wallace defeated the English at the Battle of Stirling Bridge (the bridge was a wooden structure at the time of the battle).

I cannot imagine visiting Stirling and not taking a moment to spend time standing on this bridge and contemplating the historical events associated with it and the area. We found easy parking right nearby.

We walked over this bridge on the way to the Wallace monument. It’s well-used by locals, but also a place to stop and reflect on its historical significance. Worth a stop if you’re in the area.

I'm sure this is a bit late... But yes, you can. It is about a 10/15 minute walk from the train station.
