Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A proper smell of fish in the air, it’s great. A working harbour with plenty of fishing boats and crab cages to see. Nice and tidy so good for a walk around

Small compact harbour with lots of people fishing off the harbour walls, plenty of seating dotted around and a very busy car park. Saundersfoot is a very attractive place to visit with lots of restaurants and a spectacular beach to enjoy.

A pretty place to visit but more could be done to improve for visitors. The harbour is attractive but toilet facilities are basic. Why are there still Covid signs up everywhere but the taps don’t work properly in the ladies? There is a small and attractive area for seating where the hut-style shops and cafes are. Prices quite high: Ā£25 for two pre-packed crab sandwiches and two bottles of cider. It would be nice to see more freshly-made-to-order food with emphasis on local produce. Less plastic packaging too. Not enough places to sit and enjoy the views. Also a lack of customer service and pleasantries in a few places, most notably the post office where both were completely absent. Can’t help comparing with somewhere like Padstow and thinking that if a place wishes to attract tourists with money they need a collective plan, some investment and the will.

Hi Julian, you are right, Saundersfoot is full of great places to eat and relax. Lots on Ocean Square and now on the harbour too. Hopefully see you when the sun is shining.

Nice harbour. Plenty of seating where we sat and had an ice-cream. Near the beach and a selection of shops and pubs. Good place to spend a little bit of time.

Another most enjoyable visit to Saundersfoot - one of our many favourite areas to visit in the lovely county of Pembrokeshire.
The main thing we noticed on this visit was the extensive development that was being built in the harbour which we were are able to visit despite work being in progress and it will be very interesting to return to see the area after completion.
Thanks to everyone we met for another great welcome. As on previous visits the local people were so helpful, several of whom went out of their way to find us a local bus that took us back to Amroth where we had started the demanding steep uphill walk from that morning.

Saundersfoot Harbour is so pretty with many working boats and holiday boats moored there, plus a huge wooden "play" boat for the kids. There are many benches provided for a rest. The tide comes in ferociously, right over the seawall, so we watched that several evenings during our stay. The harbour is in the centre of Saundersfoot town, so there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
