A great park that caters for the whole family. For,mal gardens for relaxation, loads of activities for children some with admission charges some free and a bowling green, water splash area, trampolines, miniature train and ride on toys and tennis courts. Cafe is a bit average and presently restricted to takeaway, but it does the job. Good quality public toilets. …

As far as parks go this one is fairly clean and well kept. The Japanese garden was a disappointment but all in all this is a nice spot for a picnic. What ruined the experience was how rude the staff around the park were. It made us feel completely unwelcome and as if us being there was the most inconvenient thing in the world. …

Most of the amenities were closed because of Covid - such a shame that the little train was not running - could have possibly been is service with reduced numbers on board - chatted to a few visitors who thought the same - lots of children running up to the train only to find it closed - Most of the gardens had been looked after but some areas needed a good grass cut and a weed -…
