We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of The CAMRA original quadumvirate brew houses.

I’ve been a regular since 1973.

Regular at the other three and visited all in one day.

This is the icing on the crown.

It’s the same as ever. A true local with locals.

Good pub grub. Basic but good.

Beer superb.

It’s a delight to drink in the history.

Rose is a delight as are all the other girls behind the bar.

Dog friendly real ale pub with excellent home brewed and guest beers. Bar snacks are available and the size of the rolls would constitute a meal at some pubs :-)

One of the four brewpubs left when CAMRA started back in 1971.
The basic boozer is an historic gem and a must visit pub if you love beer or an old fashioned British pub.
Always 4 real ales including their own brewed out back.
Food is baps, pork pies or crisps.
Can bee busy when 6 Nations rugby is on.

Up on a gill on the outskirts of Madeley, you'll easily miss this historic gem, brewing its own beer on site for 150 years. That alone is worth a visit, leave alone the atmosphere of an old pub creaking with atmosphere and history.
