Value for money outdoor museum. The staff are friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. It is great that you can look around a galleon & the olde world's shops are fascinating. The scenarios are informative too & brought the era of press gangs to life.

To have such an important ship as the central exhibit within such a beatiful setting as Jackson Dock is a rare treat. HMS Trincomalee is a beautifully restored craft - and well worth a couple of hours exploration

So informative putting you right back in the 19th century. Great clambering round the ship but watch your head as the decks are very low. Loved every minute of the day spent there.

Hello, We have a wide range of visitors from nursery schools and families. We find that young children respond in different ways to the exhibits, so we offer a free admission to any children under 5 years old.
