I had been wanting to go to Hartlepool for some time to see what was in the museum and I was not disappointed. Based around a dock in which sits the ship, there are a number of traditional buildings housing various aspects of seafaring. There...More

This ship is very much worth a visit. It's not as big as HMS Victory in Portsmouth, but it is very interesting and if you like early 19th Century history you will not be disappointed

It is worth a visit to Hartlepool for the Trimconalea as this is the oldest ship afroat in the UK and apart from being beautifully restored, the whole experience along with the associated ancient dockyard is wobnderful

This is really worth a visit superb ship, gives you a sense of what a hard life it was on board. There is a great amount of detail, lots to see .

An interesting historical ship from 1817. Well restored. A few more helpful signs about life on board would make it much more engaging. For those with limited mobility some decks might be difficult to reach. Free parking on site.
