If you are in Bodmin this is an excellent place to visit, very good value, interesting to hear first hand a trial with an opportunity to say if you think the person was guilty or not guilty. A very knowledgeable lady set the scene and...More

Very interesting tour at a good price. Only takes about an hour but worth going to. Holding cells are good and lady doing tour gave lots of information.

I discovered this in the “Best Days Cornwall” guide and as it seemed reasonably priced thought we would call in. To start with the lady giving the tour (30th) was brilliant. She was knowledgable, friendly and obviously enthusiastic about her work. The courtroom set up...More

I went here after a planned day out and was not disapointed. Although we felt outcome was predictable it gave you a sense of what things were like back then. Good way to use a spare hour to steer kids away from tech and shops...More

A very different and interesting way of presenting things. It’s trial of a real murder (albeit condensed into half an hour or so) and on presentation of the evidence, you vote guilty or not guilty. It uses film (with actors), audio testimony (actors again) and...More

A fantastic 2 hours spent here. The listed courtroom is genuine, as are the horse hair filled leather seats you can and will still sit on! A re-enactment of a local murder trial very cleverly done. At the end, you get to decide the guilty...More

This little gem is tucked away in the stunning building of Shire Hall in Mount Folly square in Bodmin. It's a unique opportunity to sit in the audience at the trial of Matthew Weeks for the murder of his girlfriend Charlotte. The fun part is...More

Very enjoyable. Sit, listen to the case and decide if verdict was correct. Extremely well done and very good value. Only drawback... the person who outlined the story before entering the courtroom should have been dressed as a court usher for authentication (black over gown).
