Although Cornwall’s Regimental Museum is in one of Bodmin’s most imposing historic buildings, the old Army Keep, we are a fun and friendly attraction, suitable for all the family.

Situated close to the Bodmin and Wenford Steam railway station, we house the best military collection in the South West. Our displays include uniforms through the ages, paintings and decorative arts, photographs, superb medals, and an outstanding collection of weaponry.

Join us for one of our many events, including 'Living History' days, or just come along to browse our collection. While you're here why not have a go at the museum quiz, or try to play the bugle!

My husband & I visited the Museum with the main intention of viewing some exhibits relating to the Indian Mutiny1857. My great, great, great grandfather Sir James Outram had played a key role in the relief of Lucknow. His medals had recently been presented to the museum & we wanted to see them displayed. In fact the whole of the... More

An enjoyable September morning spent at the Cornwall military / regimental museum. We went here with family. Wefound it very informative and well laid out. It goes from the early history of the regiment right through to modern conflicts. They also cater for children by having a trail through the museum for them to follw. Would recommend this for all... Thank you for your lovely review. We have a new exhibition on Sir John Moore opening in the next two weeks, and if you didn't see it on your last visit we have just opened one of our cells and furnished it with relevant items. More

This small museum is located in a beautiful building, just a short walk from Bodmin General Station. It is steeped in military history and has some fascinating displays to look at. We saw an interesting collection of artefacts and there were a great deal of weapons, uniforms, medals and regimental silverware which had been donated and every item displayed had... More

I was very impressed with the size of the collection, the history of the regiment, and their Battle Honours. The museum is a wonderful way to engage with the history of the regiment, and the staff were really helpful and very interesting.

The cabinet devoted Harry Patch is done very well and is a fitting tribute. As you progress through the Berlin Wall room is worth the entrance fee alone... More
