I recently took my class to visit this incredible place on a school trip. We are studying World War 1 and I didn’t even know this place existed until our head came back having organised the trip for all 4 of our Key Stage 2...More
So much to take in.The emphasis is on the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry Regiment but there are also a staggering amount of medals and weaponry. A tribute to Harry Patch was touching and they even have a section of the Berlin Wall.

The history of the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry is long and glorious. The museum has done a wonderful job in showcasing the major achievements and battle honours, with special recognition of seven Regimantal VC winners. Worth a vist; allow at least a couple of...More

I found this museum by chance on the internet and visited with my seven year old son and dog Vinnie. It has the most amazing collections and completely dog friendly. A great day out and it is absolute value for money
