Came upon this by accident. What a delight. Stunning view of the falls from the bridge. Autumn colours made it spectacular. Worth a visit.

Lovely spot to soak up nature and watch the salmon jump. The sound of the water and the wind blowing through the trees with a handy teashop as well, makes this an ideal spot to admire Scotland.

Often stop hear to listen to the roar of the Dee. Sometimes you can see salmon jumping if they are in season. There's a free car park close by so you can park and walk a 100 meters to the bridge and stare at the spectacle. The bridge looks very old. If you are passing Banchory on holiday it's worth... More

The food was excellent and presented beautifully although not big portions if this is what you like, but definitely enough. Drink was on... More

A great wee while spent Salmon Spotting, kids loved it and were totally excited to see the salmon trying to leap the waterfalls. A great point of conversation afterwards an excellent place at this time of year with the autumnal colours and wildlife.

Have been here before but never saw any salmon - guess it was the wrong time of the year. This time we hit the jackpot and saw plenty of salmon jumping the falls - few made it up but they keep trying - the force of the water is pretty strong and I'm amazed they can get up. We were... More
