For the train spotter this is a must do. For food there is a local restaurant nearby for top nosh or there is the local facility for a simple tea and bun.

Having visited all the Heritage Railways in Scotland I was expecting more. Much is made of the Royal Patronage but not too sure that the food hygiene was at Royal standard should you be smoking a pipe whilst serving in a café?More

£4 per adult and £2 per child for unlimited day travel on the diesel, great value! Juice, tea, coffee, biscuits and crisps for reasonable prices on board, gift shop with plenty of toys, ice cream, art etc at Milton of Crathes station.
