Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a great time visiting Kalala. The staff was super friendly and we enjoyed the wine so much. We walked right in and were able to get a tasting right away. They have a wide range of different wines to choose from for tasting and they were all unreal. Definitely worth checking this spot out.

A quieter winery with a comfortable sunny seating area overlooking the fields of vines. The girl doing the tasting was very friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We tried 4 wines for $3 (the red merlot blend was excellent) then ate our lunch outside in the sun.

As a wine tour guide for DKT, it is an absolute pleasure to stop in with guests for tastings! This smaller family owned winery is quite the change from all the others and for good reason. They emphasize the flavours from their organic grapes and you can taste that in the glass!
If you are a fan of ice wine, make sure this winery is a stop on your list of the Westside. They produce a splendid Zweigelt and an award winning Chardonnay Icewine which are not as sweet as others you may have tasted. Always a fun-filled and educational experience from being served by the proprietor or the assistant wine maker, which makes this stop that more unique!

This might not be the most scenic of wineries but definitely worth a visit to taste their great wine. Considering their wine is organic, it is very affordable. I especially recommend their Riesling and Cuvee Noir.

This was our first time visiting Kalala. I was referred by my brother in law who raved about the Chardonnay. This winery offered comparable prices to other wines that are not organic. it is not fancy like Mission HIll or Quails gate but the wine is very good. I am happy with the wine I purchased and will return to visit again. I especially liked that the money we paid for tasting the ice wines goes towards building a school in their home country.

The Chardonnay Icewine alone is worth the trip. I normally find ice wine too sweet but this is Chardonnay Icewine and it's incredible. Gold Medal Champ at world wine contest.

Nice location on the west side, not all that easy to find, especially if you rely on the locals for directions. Small unpretentious tasting room, we liked the wines sampled, so purchased half a dozen assorted. Looking forward to their more mature offerings as well.

Try the icewine - best thing I've ever drank. Ever. The rest of the range is pretty good too - and all organic. But even if you just go for the icewine - it's worth it.

Taste the wine where it is made, right in the cellar. Very nice people and some unique wines. I like the focus on organic vineyard practices, and their stunning icewines!

I am not sure. It was fairly dry. You can go and sample it and they will list them off.
