About
Mt. Boucherie Estate Winery proudly stands facing its namesake, a former volcano that created unique soil conditions for grape growing. Our heritage stems back to since the beginning of the Okanagan wine industry and we are proud to own and manage some of the oldest vineyards in British Columbia. From the vine to the bottle, our team takes care of every detail, every choice, every grape and every drop of wine. This is our pride in being one of the few premier wineries using grapes grown exclusively from our own vineyards.

    Amazing Tasting Experience
We are members of the Mt. Boucherie wine club. We stopped in for a tasting during our last visit to Kelowna. The tasting experience with Danielle was absolutely amazing! She really spent time with us and we felt more like we were visiting with a friend. She created a comfortable atmosphere and made the experience so enjoyable. We shipped some wine home and took some with us and Danielle made the entire process seemless and easy. Aside from our time with Danielle, the views are amazing, the tasting room is beautiful and of course the wines are simply outstanding! I can't wait until our next visit!

    Friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Walked into the wine shop, and we’re pretty surprised that the Fella that poured our wines last time remembered us. It had been a while, but the wine tasted just as good as the last time. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and good wine make for some good wine tasting experiences.

    Excellent evening
A huge thank you to both Sean and Danny for making our evening wine tasting followed by dinner so relaxing, and fun. We had a beautiful evening with friends. The view was amazing and the hospitality first class. Thank you also to the people who cooked my steak and prepared my meal. It was clear you really knew what you were doing. My meal was first class. Thank you, I am so sorry I don’t know your names.

After visiting many wineries in the Okanagan, my family and I were extremely excited to try Mt. Boucherie. We had heard lots of good things and looked at reviews prior to. Once we arrived, we essentially weare asked to pick our wines, which were then poured for us (after we were tossed around from one server to another to another and then back to the original server). We didn’t get any information on the wine, the process. Nothing. We also noticed that our pours were substantially less than people around us at other tables. I still cannot recollect what I tried because I had zero information provided to me. Part of the wine touring experience is to hear about the wine. It felt as though my family and I inconvenienced the staff. I felt compelled to buy a bottle of wine, but I really shouldn’t have. If your looking for a quick stop to do a tasting with minimal information, this place is your spot!

This winery used to be family owned and operated, but was sold and how has big money behind it, as evidenced by the new building and restaurant. Unfortunately, unlike other reviews, our tasting experience was just okay. We had wanted to taste the reserve wines, but according to the website there was no availability the day we were going to book that, so we instead booked to taste just the regular wines. While we were there, however, other people just walked in and were able to do the reserve tasting, so guess we should have asked when we got there. Anyway, a hostess brought us to our tasting station and poured us our first wine, then left saying someone else would assist us. Took several minutes of many staff walking by us, and some just standing around, before someone asked if we were being helped, and poured our remaining wines. We've heard from friends that the wines there are good, but we weren't impressed with the ones we were able to taste, and left without buying anything. Our eventual server was friendly enough, but spent a good part of the time trying to sell us on going to the restaurant upstairs, which is fully booked weeks in advance so was not really an option given we were visiting from out of town. Don't think we'd bother going back here.

We fell in love with this winery when they were a little wineshop. I used to bring my out of town guests to visit. It used to be all about service and we loved it. They have a huge new building and a beautiful restaurant now. We made a reservation for my birthday at the restaurant, we came half-hour early to visit the wineshop. We were the only ones in the wineshop at 7pm and 3 young employees behind the bar. We asked for wine tasting and we were told they don't accept "walkins". I am sure they could have accommodate 2 people, but they chose not to do it. My previous review was 5 star. The good days are over, people like me put them on the map and now they turn their back on us. I am sure the tourist would notice it sooner or later. The wine is the same but more expensive and customer service is a forgotten art here. Let's hope the restaurant staff will make up for them. Congratulations on your absolutely beautiful wineshop.

Decided to check this place out after rediscovering their wine recently. Was surprised at how beautiful and inviting their tasting room was, but the staff here is what really made the place an excellent stop. Friendly and knowledgeable, and they all genuinely look happy to be there. A lot of really great unique wines at a fair price point especially given the quality. Don’t miss this place!

Our experience goes to show how different things can turn out. We didn't rate the tasting experience. Our host sat us outside, gave us a cursory description and promptly went back in, we were not impressed. The wines actually turned out be very good ie good for our palate, we ended up buying their 2021 Rose. Lesson - a professional presentation and description does not influence your taste buds ...

This was the most beautiful winery! It has spectacular views and the staff were so friendly. We had Avneet as our server and she was so knowledgeable about all the wines. Even though I didn't know much about the wine, she made it so easy for me to understand. She also made some great suggestions on wines she thought I would like. I ended up buying 3 bottles because she was so great! Would highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of discovering this superb vineyard and were delighted by the quality of the wines tasted during our visit. However, our experience was somewhat tarnished when we decided to dine at the on-site restaurant. Although the restaurant is independent of the vineyard, we were surprised by the exorbitant prices charged for the wines. A red that we enjoyed during the tasting, sold for $30 plus tax at the vineyard, was priced at $90 plus tax on the restaurant menu. This price difference seemed far too exaggerated to us. This is all the more regrettable because the quality of the food was exceptional. This situation somewhat tainted our overall experience.

Great wine but service was lacking considering we were on a scheduled tour. The wines themselves were good, particularly the Syrah. Reasonable prices! However, the server we had for the tasting seemed a little frazzled and poured the same wine twice. There were long periods of time that no one checked in on us, and at the final glass no one ever came to say we were done and lead us out. Our tour guide operator had to come find our group, as we were now late for our lunch reservation at the modest butcher (the on site restaurant). Apparently the establishment gave him a hard time about this and I wish they hadn’t. It was absolutely mt boucheries issue

My boyfriend and I wanted to check out the wine scene in Kelowna in the winter and couldn't help but enter this beautiful building. We were greeted right away and were served immediately. Rod was our wine connoisseur and he was fantastic. He was very informative and made us feel very welcome. Do visit this beautiful building with a spectacular view!

We stopped at Mt. Boucherie as part of our wine tour with Sip & Anchor. This was our 3rd stop, and it was a very hot day. Our server was kind, although I'm not sure how much we all retained about the wines due to the distraction of 2 previous wineries and the heat. It seemed like the information provided about the wines was much less specific and informative than the other wineries. The new tasting area, patio, view, and wine shop are BEAUTIFUL though, and the service was friendly and professional. The tables were distanced and clean, and the staff were all wearing masks so we felt super comfortable despite COVID-19 protocols. I wouldn't mind going back for sure.

Thank you so much for taking the time share your experience. We are sorry to hear that your host didn't share all the information that should have been. We have an enormous amount of pride in both the winemaking and viticulture practices that go into making our wines. We will be passing this along to the team to ensure all new staff have the support and knowledge needed to meet our service expectations in the future. We would love to have you back sometime, feel free to email zoe@mtboucherie.com and I will get you booked in! Many thanks, Zoë
